  • vidios liars mals are vooc voçes sao malignos..

  • if there is a hell is that place?

    deception operation of peopl.

  • Hell does not exist. all fiction.

  • @antonio33378 because when you believe in God you will know that this life is temporary and you will die and only take your good deeds to the grave. You will never take your wealth to the grave when you die. This way you will not be an obedient consumer and you will only buy on need basis. Bottom line is that you will not qualify as an obedient consumer to the rich if you are busy worshiping God.

  • @antonio33378 How can you prove that hell does not exist? One can't simply close eyes and pretend that reality does not exist. No one can change reality, we can only change ourselves to fit the reality and to be on the safe side. Media tries to present God as a fairy tale falsely ensuring people that God is myth, but there's a reason they do so and that's to take belief away from people and involve them with material things. Why?

  • say that if it comforts you. but we'll all find out the answer soon enough. And we may not like what we find...oh my God I'm creeping myself out so much now. But I do believe in Hell, I just don't know what form it would take, the traditional biblical hell or something even more horrifying, a place of spiritual agony so horrific we couldn't even begin to concieve of it, a nightmare that would make the pain of this world seem like a child's plaything in comparison

  • what's that music?

I remember hearing it a hundred times but I never know its name

  • @Miriawake A perfect song would've been donasdogma micma

  • I came to a place mute of all light....

  • this has nothing to do with Dantes Inferno-

    try reading the book

  • 0:58 looks like Hades from GoW 1

  • questo sta a ravenna, capitale de a provincia de ravenna

  • There is one piece off hell missing in the book; a place where people have to read this book over and over again, yeah that would be hell for me. Ah the horror!

  • Comment removed

  • me 2

  • It's a really great book.

  • well if hope you have a lot of patience because it's 14 thousand lines...

  • Clear your schedule and prepare to get bored senseless.

  • Everyone should get Dante's Inferno on your most comfortable console . Its a video game inspired on Dante's inferno. The creator or someone in charge said he's opting to make a gruesome repulsive world in which you must journey through to save your beloved beatrice. AWESOME. It'll be out most definitely in 2010.

  • yeah but the game in a way kind of reminds me of God Of War and also Devil May Cry

  • They probably wanted to mix the greek and italian sides of the videogames into one world . Dante's inferno.

  • Yeah you are right

  • what is the name of the music playing?

    I like the music.

  • The music piece is called Marion Barfs. It is composed by Clint Mansell and performed by the Kronos Quartet. But, the drums and voices behind it were added in.

And before anyone tries to contradict me in an attempt to sound smart. It is NOT Lux Aeterna. I own both the movie and the soundtrack. The violin part(that everyone associates with Lux Aeterna) is used in six different songs in Requiem for a Dream. One of them just happens to be Lux Aeterna.

  • Clint Mansell - Requiem for a dream.

  • T recognise the picture of the Demon in 1:31, beleave it or not, this is real, or atleast that's what I have been told.

The man who took it's picture, was with a friend in an isolated cave at Ras Al Khaima, at the United Arab Emirates. His friend was killed during the time they were in the cave after they took it's picture. As for the other man, well let me tell you this after about a week from the incident the man was killed too.

  • that's interesting. where can I find out more about the picture?

  • yoo are you serious?! cuuzzz that would be pretty messed up, just thinking of that thing running around from cave to cave..it gives me chills

  • When my sister showed me that picture I was 10, and I didn't sleep for a whole week. lol

  • lol i couldnt stop thinking about it all last night, i was looking behind every small area in my room for that skinny demon thingy

  • Serious as Dante is the best writer that ever lived . You'll be able to pass through every circle , though the geometrical positioning of the actual circles may vary in forms of dungeons and stuff.

  • hermoso.

  • I believe we all know how interesting "Requiem for a Dream" but coped with this imagery, it gives a whole new look on that music...

And yes, Dante Aglighieri's "Divine Comedy" was the book that gave and still gives us the idea of hell being composed of 9 rings, each and everyone of these rings represent the 9 deadly sins...

  • my bad, there are actually 7 deadly sins, but only 9 rings of hell, currently, I am investigating what and who are the other 2 rings meant to punish.

  • The Circles don't necessarily correspond to a deadly sin. Having read the epic poem, the circles and their punishment are as follows: First Circle: (Limbo) Unbaptized and Pagans Second Circle: The Lustful Third Circle: The Gluttonous Fourth Circle: Hoarders and Wasters Fifth Circle: the Wrathful and the Sullen Sixth Circle: Heretics Seventh Circle The Violent Eighth Circle: The Fraudulent Ninth Circle: The Traitors. Purgatory, however, has a terrace corresponding to each of the 7 sins.
  • Let's not forget that the punishments for breaking each sin are distributed accordingly to the degree of "impact" they were made with :3

  • The First Circle (Limbo) is for the Unbaptized and VIRTUOUS Pagans, such as Virgil himself.

  • whats the name of this sound?

  • The name of this song is "Requiem for a dream" by Clint Mansell, a very touching song.

  • This is a bit of a misnomer. The Song is Lux Æterna, Latin for "Eternal Light." The movie that the song comes from and was composed for is Requiem for a Dream.

  • I hate to contradict, but it's actually called "Marion Barfs", not Lux Aeterna. They sound similar, but there are some rather distinct differences. For example, when the main violin section kicks in, you can hear the stactic sound behind it. That is not present in "Lux Aeterna". You can google "Clin Mansell Marion Barfs" if you don't want to take my word for it.

  • Damn song, it goes well with almost everything...

Don´t get me wrong, I think it´s really great, but don't you start to feel a little tired of hearing it so much?

    Cool vid anyway!

  • It started as a masterpiece and its died in the arse as a cliche.

  • Indeed. And I'm still hearing it everywhere, hehe.

  • RED is taking this to the max!! Can't wait for the new CD hehe.

  • True that!

  • what the hell?

  • Abandon all hope, you who are about to enter...

  • Abandon all hope, yee who enter here...actually

  • ok buddy, thanks for your info. im starting to think that my english is still a little bad

  • @avamposto All abandon hope ye who enter here.

    Get it correct.

  • @avamposto You're welcome.

  • Excellent choice of music as many here agree but what did you do to the track? The vocals in there are not part of the soundtrack and don't go with the strings at all being in a different key. All the pics are really cool. I just don't like what you did to the song. Every time that voice was singing in a different key it threw away the coolness of the video and pictures. Aside from that, good video. I'll just mute the video and play the actual soundtrack on my ipod.

  • theme song from requiem for a dream .. ?

  • Jep, 1 of the best soundtracks

  • Agreed. Love it. I first heard it in one of the Lord of the Rings movies I think.

  • What is the name of this song you put in this video called? I think it's awesome!

  • wow, the song really goes with the photos, good job , looks nice !!!!

  • Superbo! Splendid!

  • Uh you realize that Dante's Inferno was a work of fiction,it was meant and wrote as a story and as such the church adopted it's symbolism and ideas. Much of what we now think of Hades was taken from this fiction book.

  • If I ever figure out how to make videos, I would really want some of these photos.

  • How do you guys know whats worse? have you ever been frozen in a river or torn apart by hounds\ snakes?

  • They say as the circles go deeper into Hell, the punishment gets more severe. But in the 9th and deepest circle, Cocytus, souls only get frozen in a lake; some even get their heads free above the surface. That's definitely better than the preceding circles, where souls get their limbs sliced off and bitten by snakes for all eternity.

  • But remember that in the 9th circle, it is forever icy cold (its like sharp needles stabbing you) and Satan or Lucifer flaps his wings trying to get free but freezes the frozen lake even more.

  • still better than getting burned, stabbed, and bitten by snakes over and over again.

  • Why is this music so familiar? It sounds awesome, really goes with this clip.

  • The music is called requiem for a dream but it doesn't have all the vocals and other things added in. A remix called requiem for a tower is used in many trailers.

  • And it seems like its been over-used for Movie Trailers: Hellboy 2 and this new one with Vin Diesel called Babylon A.D.

Those are just two recent ones that i've noticed

  • lots of others lord of the rings 2 towers and sunshine to name a couple more

  • We could only wish that hell looked like this.

Remember, that there is no light either.

  • Lux Aeterna... wonderful song!

  • If I remember correctly, didn't he have figures in the Catholic Church as residents of hell

  • i think plato go tsent to limbo is that correct?

  • That's correct. Plato was sent to Limbo like every good people died before Jesus Christ. Few exceptions like Noè, Abramo, Mosè etc.

  • "This is a image sequence inspirated in passages of a Dante's Comedy. The music is the BSO of Requiem for a Dream." U fucking morons

  • es fenomenal tu video! gracias por compartirlo...

  • what is the name of the song? ive heard it many times but i have never found a title for it!

  • the music is the BSO of Requiem for a Dream.

  • thank you!

  • uhh yeah youre welcome :D

  • requiem for a dream

  • loved it thank you

  • which Circles of Hell were Uylesses, Cleopatra, and Plato in?

  • Plato - in Hell?!!! I don't think so!!!

  • Plato wasn't sent "into" Hell, persay, but more like "right on the threshold." He led a good life but didn't accept Christ and so on and so forth. The "threshold" isn't a good place, but its not horrible either. It's like getting a "C" on life when you die. "F's" go to hell, "A's" go to heaven. Good people, but not good enough for heaven.

  • You're definition is about who stays in Purgatorio. Limbo is something else.

  • Great Example! You cleared it up well. +1

  • He is, he's in the 1st ring of Hell, Limbo. There, the souls receive no punishment, but they are forever to wander the dark woods. Usually, it's for people who accidently did bad deeds. I guess that's what Plato did.

  • Yeah, most of all the philosophers were there. I think he said that the souls sit in a beautiful park and nothing bad happens, but it is still a sad place.

  • no, it's a dark forest with a view of some sort of castle. The souls awere forced to wander the dark woods, filled of sadness, forever. There's not punishment, excpet for the sadness mood in the woods. It can't be a beautiful park, no where in Hell is beautiful and a beautiful place wouldn't be a sad place at all.

  • I think you meant the Elysium? A beautiful field where virtuous Pagan who have never know God resides. Including Virgil.

  • 1st

  • Too much fantasy, in Dante there are not so much fantasy. By the way the video is pretty good.

  • Good images!Good music! GOOD VIDEO!!!

    Thank you very much!!!

  • Hell Kicks Ass!!!

  • never sin

  • Dante is the master!! amazing, the one and the only one. The Divine Comedy is something beyond the soul and brain. All the works from Dante, reborn in the soul every moment! nice work^^

  • Niceeeeeeeeeeee

  • It is considered a comedy because of the ironic punishments/contrition the souls have to endure in hell and purgatory. The earthly paradise could be seen as the punchline(reward).

  • please post a clip on the real movie!!!

  • comedies* lol >_>

  • I've just started reading this book....and i'm not sure why they call it the divine comedy, i mean it's not even funny, but anyway awesome vid!

  • comedy's are meant to be "funny" the poem is considered a comedy because of its happy ending.

  • this is one of the most interesting masterpieces I have ever seen. I would like to extend my deep thanks and appreciation for sharing. Thank you very much.
