John G Lake teaches the same false teaching that E.W. Kenyon teaches that "Men are gods". He also teaches Dominionist doctrines. This ministry was resurrected by Cal Pierce after "praying at Lakes grave". Movements born out of such weirdness and false teaching will end in demonic possetion. STEER CLEAR...
@repentUsinner I'm HYPER sensitive to Dominionism and I've never seen any hint of it in Lake's writings. I have a humungous book that is the complete writings of John Lake and I've read it cover to cover. I never saw anything that looked like "men are gods" either. I know that bad things are said about him, but I'd appreciate if you can show me chapter and verse where exactly Lake said that.
John G Lake is not a false teacher at all and the healing rooms are not evil at all. I have heard messages that were spoken by John G Lake and they are scripturally sound and anointed by the Holy Ghost. Why do people think he was false? There is no evidence of that. In fact, there is much evidence that he was genuine. If Lake was false, then Satan is really dumb because... that false teaching caused thousands to get saved, healed of sickness and delivered from addiction. Is someone jealous?
@fotm1 Obviously, he doesn't know the Bible well enough to say what makes Lake a false teacher.
John Lake believed in healings and miracles and the gifts of the Spirit. I'm sure that "repentUsinner" was told that's enough to make him a false teacher, and like most of those who think "Repent you sinners!!!!" is the only message in the Bible that matters, doesn't have enough spiritual life in him to consider that God really does speak to his children.
@fotm1 He teaches many heresies....I read a book Kenneth Copeland, another heretic published about Lake. I still have it but its like reading junk. He says Man is a god. Word of Faith heresies.
@repentUsinner Kenneth Copeland is whacked. And if HE wrote it, then he wrote it with the intention of positioning Lake as someone who would back HIM up. I wouldn't trust ANYTHING from Copeland. His bias and willingness to lie is obvious. So you're quoting a known liar as a credible witness about someone else! But I can't find ANY of that in the actual writings of Lake.
Just curious: Is this the same Roberts Liardon who told the stories of being taken into heaven at 8 years old, and then later confessed that the whole story was a lie?
I don't know about that. I know there were some other admissions on his part.
I don't agree with him on a bunch of stuff, and I'm sure he wouldn't agree with me either - but he has some books (like this one) where there is no commentary of his, just a collection of the original writings. Like it or not, it's the most extensive collection of Lake's writing and diaries that I can find.
I've heard quite a few testimonials where pll had unforgiveness, bitterness. Once they asked for forgiveness, or forgave a person for a past abuse, etc. Then physical healing came.
I try to always pray for discernment, discernment of spirits, and wisdom! I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. :)

I want to tell you, this video was a TREMENDOUS blessing to me! I learned some things about the gifts of the Spirit that I had never realized!

@daffydoug I'd like the link to his confession that the whole story was a lie.
I think you're the liar.
Please prove me wrong.
