I just replaced my old laminate with real maple hardwood a few months ago and I am now going back to laminate. Real wood is a BIG mistake when you have cats and dogs like I do. It's already super scratched up, so I just bought a nice new cherry laminate and I'm getting rid of the wood.

My niece found that out, too. Hardwood floor are not all they're cracked up to be. She said she's sorry she ever went for hardwood instead of the laminate floor! She has pets as well as kids...
