  • really beautiful and dark make-up

  • @1409Elena Thanks so much! xx

  • Wow! You did Harlow the best I've seen... even your brows are so close without having to shave and re-draw them. You did a great job! Thank You!

  • @VintageGirlMemories Thanks so much, means a lot to me! sx

  • You really nailed the look! Although Jean wore classic red lipstick, since we always see her in black & white it does appear a lot darker. I really like the colours you chose!

  • You really look like Jean Harlow!

  • The look is so glamorous..yet with a contemporary look. The best Harlow look, they should have used you in the "Aviator"

  • what nail polish are you wearing? it is lovely :)

  • @Nochefairy It's Chanel Ming ... love it too : ) xo

  • Wow, you really got it right here! This is the best version I've seen of the Harlow look. You're so beautiful too.

  • @giofu7 thanks so much : ))

  • @giofu7 thanks so much : )) I dont have those lashes anymore but think they were the Eyelure naturalites in 107!

  • @missmai27: Don't worry, this look is actually more accurate than you think. The makeup you did here reminded me a lot of Jean during her "Hell's Angels" period (circa 1930). Back then, she still had her natural eyebrows, and they looked very similar to yours. Also, the lip color is spot on as well: in the late 1920's and early 1930's, red lipstick tended to be more of a Bordeaux color than a true red.

  • @MissGoldenDreams13 Thank you!! And fab to get your view on the look!

  • You're pretty and I think your facial features actually resemble Harlow's, esp your nose and eyes. However I think you missed the mark here with the makeup. Harlow wouldn't have worn dark almost purple lips, she wore classic red. Also, the eyebrows need to be a soaring, thin curve. Harlow's eyebrows were her trademark!

  • @Patrick3183 Hey Patrick and thanks : ) Yes, totally agree on the brows. When I'm doing them on my video I point out that I would have had to cover mine and draw new ones in to get her high curved brows... the video is more of a hommage and a wearable modern day version as I do say in it. Also in black & white photos of her, the lips do come out super dark so thats what I chose to compliment the look : )

  • Wonderful! love Harlow and love Nightmoth liner! xoxo

  • @daisynation me too... and I was scared of dark liner for ages! : )

  • Thank you so much for sharing :) Your so pretty. I've always wanted to learn how to do Jean Harlow makeup :)

  • @Gigimolly11 thanks so much : )

  • this is very similar to Reese Witherspoon's in Water For Elephants. Thanks... it's beautiful.

  • @idance4life17 Cool: ) I haven't see the movie yet, have to check it out..thanks!

  • Beautiful! Quick question, do you prefer the Armani or Chanel foundation??

  • @stellybub For me personally Chanel Vitalumiere : )
