I had a sample of both this and Black. Black is much better. Smells similar to Allure Homme, but I think I preferred Black more.

First of all thank you Marc for doing the reviews.

Ok so today I got a bottle of F Black. As he said the scent of pepper is pretty strong. I'd prefer the Black variant to the classic one. The black one is very similar to Axe Voodoo. Just as Marc said it won't get you many complements but it smells sexy and fresh.

What do you think? And what would you suggest?... trying to get one for some complements that i wouldnt wear as much, one for winter, and one for summer

I have both , the black and and the original, the original has been pulled off the markets in the US and the Black is being heavily promoted esp at Macys. I got the testers for 25 dollars each. Both are good , but I think the Black has the edge .

its a 100 ml tester it comes without a cap but i prefer testers because, from experience I have found the oil in the fragrance to be stronger

Great review, i discovered this fragrance over a year ago and I can say this fragrance will always be part of my collection I don't really like the black version of it though. This house is pretty much under the radar, but none the less this is one of my favorite fragrances I really like the dry down it's so calming...

Hey Marc, Ive heard this compared to Terre d Hermes but reviews say it's sweeter. Well, Sonia rykiel PH I feel is essentially a sweeter version of TDH. Would you say this is close to Sonia Rykiel? Great review!

Great review Marc !!! Watching you encourages me to buy more bottles. :) I like F pour homme, but I to be honest when I was testing it, during the winter before spring a girl told me that I smell weird. My dad told me not to wear Bang by Marc Jacob, not even the sample ! Some people might like F pour homme, just like some others won't. But it reminded Yves Saint-Laurent, that's fore sure.

Awesome Marc. Love Ferragamo fragrances. I have Incanto and had Subtil. Great frags. My sister has Incanto Shine and Bliss, very well done scents. Thanks for dipping your toes in some unreviewed waters! Haha.

I have both , FH , has more sillage power , and is more of a soapy apple with hints of pepper. Black is very different , sillage is less but longevity is more.
