there's always some dumbass who says it's fake, lol. These are real, but the fake ones are now practically on par with the real ones so it doesn't really matter. The real ones are not worth the price you pay for them but the fake ones definitely are.

Those companies that I listed before are much better sound, comfort, and build quality wise; all for $200-300 less. So it's more like saying: Would you want to buy much better, much cheaper clothes at a trusted retail store, or buy a brand from a designer store that is ludicrously expensive for the clothes they give you?

Of-course these headphones are going to cost a little bit more because of there design and name. Its just like a car. Picture a Chevy Corvette and a Ferrari 360 Modena, they're both just as fast, but the Ferrari looks better and has a prestigious name. So therefore the Ferrari cost more. Same thing with the beats, they look better and have a prestigious name. I own the Beats Pro and love them, they sound good and look badass, I am never embarrassed to wear them in public.

@KashgroundTM I tried with my Xb700 and after alot of testing on different genre of songs honestly the beats (Studio) are better in clarity, vocal and even bass, which the XB700 is famous for. The difference is very obvious when u switch them after about 30 minutes of countinuous listening. Btw Sony XB700 is $129.

@Bovbjergsen definitely get the Beats Studio unless you are a DJ. The Beats Studio headphones are much lighter and more comfortable. Not only are they cheaper, but they come in several different colors and have the same sound as the Beats Pro.

The Sennheiser HD238's have much better sound quality than your beloved Studios and I can prove it to you with audio tests that test how well a headphone can reproduce a given sound. The HD238's trounce the Studios for 1/6 the price. I don't think less than $50 sound quality from a $300 headphone is considered 'the best headphone'

@theclassiccarman1967 And besides, if they were the best headphones ever, open-back headphones wouldn't be needed but they are because they offer much better sound quality and a more natural sound stage than closed-back headphones due to less noise from acoustic feedback/reverb from the drivers. Look it up for yourself if you don't believe me. The best world-class headphones in the market are open-back. Sennehiser HD800, Audeze LCD-2, HiFiMAN HE-500. Again, look it up

If you look at the audio tests, you can see how poorly the Beats perform in accurate audio reproduction compared to less expensive headphones. When you start saying people can't afford them, that's not true at all either and you're just using the same excuse that many Beats-supporters use and is completely false for most people.

My Shure headphone's cables are just as durable as the Monster Cables. $50 sound quality from the $300 Studios is hardly 'getting what you pay for' is it not? If you want the talk-cable, V-Moda's M80 headphones offer that, have much better sound quality than the Pro's, $200 cheaper, able to get customized

It sounds amazing! ....to the kids who have only ever used shitty 20 dollar headphones from wal-mart. If you want real quality, look in the $200 range in a music store near you, and pick up a 3.5mm adapter for them. You won't regret it. If you're getting these for mixing, save your money.
