Third Molar Extraction Soft Tissue Impaction, Dr. Port & Dr. Klein

i pulled the stitching out right when i got home from getting my molar pulled because i thought it was the root to the tooth. does anyone know if anything bad will happen. it has been a week and there is still a hole in my mouth.

I had that done on both top and bottom... plus a bit of bone had to be removed to get my left bottom one out. Surprisingly... I had like... zero pain after. Most annoying thing was feeling the stitches on the inside of your mouth and waiting for them to dissolve lol

Most are surprised to hear that I was awake for it... dunno why. Just numbed me up and went to town :P

@fantard100 Wisdom teeth extraction refers to the extraction of the third molars, which are also called wisdom teeth. Molar extraction applies to all molars.

@fantard100 wisdom teeth is the last molar teeth of the sequence...it tend to get impacted or imbeded :) normally we need to use minor surgery like this :)

even though my wisdom teeth were growing the right way. but they still had to be taken out. followed by two molars that seen better days. on my left side my teeth did not want to come out and i dont remember my bottom left wisdom being taken out. all three teeth on my right side came out alot faster. now i just have holes in my gum where the teeth used to be. my tongue wont leave it alone. have you seen your own teeth after being removed.? strange roots? one of my roots had a hook shape on end.

This vid makes it look better than it is and its really not that bad at all. I had this done and i had pain for like maybe 2 weeks but they give you vicodin or Ibuprophen so it doesnt really hurt. Depending on your dentist, you are most likely going to be knocked out or high. For all you with crooked wisdom teeth and dont want them pulled concider this; eventually the teeth will become infected and the pain will be much worse than what this shows taking THEM out will be so much painfull

it is actually worse than that. they will actuall break the tooth into 4 pieces and take them out that way. they dont pop out that easily!!!
