hey man, you dress however the hell you want to. piss on people. Most would say the "father of country music" is Jimmie Rodgers. Listen to his music, and you hear a very heavy influence of blues which was almost exclusively black music then. It's all southern music. Ray Charles loved country music, Darius Rucker has done excellent (cause he's from N. Carolina and was raised with it), and Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of the best blues musicians ever (white). You can't seperate it...do your thing.
