  • i would love to make the statue of vlad tepes out of flesh and bone

  • This clan "jumped the shark." Still awesome though.

  • Wonder which clan is more of a threat. Tzimisce with their power of flesh crafting, or the new version of the Nosferatu who control fear itself.

  • @Nyrufa Nosferatu control and supply information - without them the Camarilla would be blind - why do you think the Tzimisce tried (and failed) to eradicate them first instead of launching a frontal assault of their various monstrosities? But when it comes to ersoal power, Tzimisce wield a much greater power than anyone would think. Their problem is that they are beasts who are still, whether they like it or not, under the control of the Lasombra and bound to the Sabbat. The answer is Nosferatu.

  • @FullMetalAlcohol My mistake - personal not ersoal.

  • @FullMetalAlcohol I'm talking about the new version, from the Vampire Requiem book. The new Nosferatu have the Discipline Nightmare, which allows them supernatural control over fear. Camarillia have been replaced with the Invictus and the Sabbat with Belial's Brood.

  • @Nyrufa I dunno, DO THEY WORK FOR THE MEDIA?! OR are they forced to be discovered? You know how some people can't let their secrets die... . ... yeah

  • @Nyrufa neither. it's clan brujah all the way. both sides need footsoldiers. who makes better foot soldiers than brujah (other than gangrel, some lasombra and tzimisce war ghouls)?

  • nice to see some love for my favorite clan, great song choice

  • 4:31 looks like a toreador. don't think milla jovovich would like being tzimisce.

  • 3:05 looks kiasyd

  • do one for the kiasyd please! a sad opera song would be amazing

  • according to the secrets of the black hand, vicissitude is infestation af an alien parasite from the umbra. the more the tzimisce changes shape, the more infected they become. perhaps these aliens really run the sabbat in their host bodies. why is it that the black hand is never mentioned in the clan novels even though all black hand members want to see the alien menace destroyed?

  • @SchizoKnight12

If I remember correctly WW later published something along the lines of saying "Dirty Secrets of the Black Hand was a mistake. Like they were high on acid or something. If I remember correctly that was the book that "Old" Clan Tzimisce was introduced. And gave a feeling of "Super Hero VTM"

  • @Youhaveaname the old clan tzimisce is also mentioned in the player's guide to sabbat book. also mentioned is that the old world tzimisce that didn't join the sabbat are happy nesting within their estates in the carpathian mountains.

  • i share their twisted view on beauty

  • I'm looking to join clan Tzimisce. Please, this mortal shell holds so much possibility for evolution and there is muchpain and suffering to bring about. It would be a great experience. Let me know as soon as possible.

  • we should make an anti twilight movement and take vampires away from hollywood and into the darkness

  • Can anyone tell my the diffculty for doing bone spurs, spikes, and heart cages for 3rd edition vampire?

  • @worldlystone: I can only tell you 2nd Ed., but I don't think that there is any difference.

Bone Spurs and Spikes are Strength+Body Crafts(Alteration) at diff. 7. They inflict +2 lethal dmg.

A heart cage, when used as an attack, is Strength+Body Crafts diff. 6 and needs 5 successes to stake the victim.

When done for protective means, it's Strength (but you can also use Dex)+ Body Crafts diff 8 and ... needs ... 3 successes I believe.

  • @ClanTremere Thanks for the info!

  • @ClanTremere there is none expcet 4 in 3rd it dosent take away success when u roll 1s thats it.

  • @worldlystone its the same as 2nd the only diffrnce between the 2 of them is the 3rd edition doesnt take away seccues when u roll 1 thats it.

  • Nice video ^_^ Would it be possible for you to tell me where you got the image at 4:14 from? It was my favorite.

By the way, 5:03 Vampire Hunter D, Tzimisce? ROFL! (I'm not making fun, I just imagined him using Vicissitude on Meier Link)

  • Toreadors and Tzimisce are opposites, but deep inside they're all the same, one builds with stone and paint and other with bone and flesh. Both want to be perfect at something and both seek the "next stage".

Toreadors wish to be the most human possible, and Tzimisces try to be the furthest possible.

It would be fun to exist a fanfiction of a "romance" betwen Ishtar/Arikel and Eldest, even though it would be wierd. But I would like to see it :P

  • I always liked Toreador, but the Tzimisce is the one to take the cake.

I love the fact that each one of them is a piece of the Eldest, and that he can appear in any of his children.

Their ideals are a bit hard to understand at first, but I seem them as the radical philosophers and visionaires that allow us to give us one more step ahead everyday.

  • This song is awesome, cheers :)

  • unfortunately, vicissitude does not work on nosferatu (big surprise)! if you warp their disfigured flesh, it will go back to the way it was as if it was rubber.

  • bone craft would work on a nos.

  • It works temporarily, like for a scene.

  • 4:51 - Stop me if I'm wrong, but wheren't the Arpads a *Ventrue* line, not a Tzimisce one?

  • No, you are completely right. This was a mistake I already noticed. Unfortunately, I deleted the projectfile of this video. To remove it, I would have to make the whole thing new. So I left it in.

But I am still experimenting with editing. Chances are, that I replace the videos that need improvement with new ones later.

  • im new to vtm but does dracula have a place in the storyline? what would his clan be?

  • Vlad Tepez is part of V:tM. And he is Tzimisce.

But he does not belong to the Sabbat like most other Tzimisce, nor to the Old Clan Tzimisce, however.

He is the outer head of the Inconnu, an organisation (third sect out of four) of elder vampires, that does not interfere with the Jihad. Or so they say. In fact, they manipulate at a larger scale. The Tal Mahe Ra, or Black Hand, is the fourth sect, which see the Inconnu as their enemy. They have infiltrated both Camarilla and Sabbat as well.

  • "Black Hand", btw, is an interesting matter if you dont know of it. Camarilla vampires often refer to the whole Sabbat as the Black Hand. In fact, there is only one elite force of (even for Sabbat standards) extreme fanatical vampires called Black Hand within the Sabbat. This unit is secretly a unit of the Tal Mahe Rah. However, they have lost their leader and contact of the true Black Hand (Tal Mahe Rah) shortly. The Sabbat Hand is now (temporary) a true Sabbat unit.

  • wow thats alot of information thank you. and who is the strongest clan? what about count orlock is he in the picture

  • Count Orlok did not make an appearance, you can make anything up with him.

As for the strongest Clan: There is none. V:tM has certainly no balance. There are Clans that are strong and there are Clans that are weaker. But you cant say that any Clan is the strongest one. It depends on the story you play. In a story about intriques, Clan Ventrue and Toreador, as well as Tzimisce and Lasombra will be strong. When the story is about fighting, Clan Assamite, Brujah and Gangrel will kick ass.

  • But you can play a social skilled Gangrel as well, and a fighting Toreador can be a real threat.

It all depends on the story and your skills. But Clan Tremere is one of the strongest, of course. :)

You can build them to participate in schemes, or let them throw fireballs. But as I said above, almost every individual of every Clan can be built this or another way.

  • thats to bad orlok was my favorite vampire. i thought one of the strongest was the halbringers of skulls

  • They have beaten final death, yes. And the Giovanni shit their pants when you mention their names, yes.

But they have a disadvantage by their appearance, and have only vengeance at Clan Giovanni in mind. They joined the Sabbat only because it fits them the most to reach their goals.

But they are really, really few and lost almost all connections to the living world during their stay in the shadowlands. I would not call them strong. They are unique and cool. But not effective imo.

  • if their are so few how do they expect to get revenge against the giovanni who ive heard are very strong

  • Thats the reason why they have joined the Sabbat. They know that they cannot get their revenge on their own. The Sabbat, however, is not interested in supporting privat wars, when there is "the holy war versus the puppets of the antedeluvians" to fight that every Sabbatmember has to fight. And this is mainly the Camarilla. But the Sabbat also thinks, that anyone that is not with the Sabbat, is an enemy. The Giovanni are not with the Sabbat. That is the only chance the Harbingers have.

  • ah i see now. from what i know is that the sabbat is losing so far well at least the grunt soldiers are im sure that the higher ranked sabbats are strong. god its been awhile since i played. i liked the caapadocian(i think thats how you spell it) vampires how did the giovanni wipe them out? your quite the expert on this

  • The Sabbat can afford to loose as many shovelheads as it want to. They mass embrace and let them loose. Thats the tactic. The older Sabbat are insanly inhuman, but otherwise, they are not very different from Camarilla elders.

The Capadocians ran into a trap. Augustus Giovanni agreed to become a Capadocian, but he used his chance to slay the antedeluvian and his present followers (except one), commiting diablerie. Some of them got locked into a catacomb, some other where just hunt down.

  • And there are still some survivors. There is a rumor, that they exist aquatic now, beneath the mausoleum in Venecia.

So, the Cappadocians split in three. The very few and feared Cappadocians left, the Harbingers, and the Giovanni.

But the Gehenna setting teach us, that none of them reached their goals. There was no revenge, there was no long night, there was nothing. All of them failed.

  • i dislike the giovanni but didnt they surpass the original capadocians? hmmmm ive also heard about a group of the first nosferatus called the nikitu do they have any major role in this. sorry for asking so many questions

  • You are welcome. Ask questions. It is 11:50 pm here, but I still stay awake for a while. :)

Yes, the Giovanni surpassed the Capadocians, except for this surviving the final death thingy. But they did not reached their goal, the long night.

The Niktuku have no major role in the whole World of Darkness, except scaring the shit out of young Nosferatu. They are ambience. As a storyteller, its up to you to make something out of that if you want to. But they have no real significance.

  • Well the niktuku are mentioned to be responcible for the sudden disappearence of many nosferatu who work outside the clan.I really want to use them in my chronicle for not many are the things who can terrify the Leppers as much as the niktuku.

  • Yes, thats true. But everything WW says in its source books, are rumors. They say so by themselfs. Every storyteller can come up with his own "reality" for his personal game. And even if you take them literal as what they appear to be, you can make no whole story about them. The characters will have fear, but the players don't.

  • and in a story about survival, ravnos, malkavian, nosferatu, and maybe even setite will show their cunning and stealth.

  • why is vampire hunter D @ 508 he isent a Tziimce? vicssitude suck untill u get level 3 of it or bone craft the it rocks!!

  • Yes, he in particular is no Tzimisce for sure.

But the picture was fitting and he has this whatever it is in his hand, what remembered me somewhat at Vicissitude. But mainly, as I said, because I thought the picture itself is fiting.

  • ok cool. ya i aggree that is a cool picture. ya i can see the hand comeing but on after being cut of as a part of vicssitude.

  • You said, Vicissitude sucks until rank 3.

With rank 1 you can alter skinetone, hair and eye color and skin. You can disguise yourself and others as someone else with that. Supernaturals have to soak when you try to blind them.

With rank two, you are able to render flesh, which is an amazing ability. You can use it to disguise yourself even more and it is also useful in battle. You can use Vic. 2 as melee attack, inflicting lethal damage. Also, you can use it for intimidation and torturing.

  • And there is much more you can use it for. Disfiguring ghouls, so that they cannot leave you, altering strength, dexterity and appearance, perfom in felshcraft contest (yes, they exist amongst Tzimisce), scare the shit out of mortals by meaningless alterings of flesh in their sight, there are dozens of possibilies in which Vicissitude 1 and 2 are useful.

  • I LOVE the Tzimisce they are such an awesome clan of inhuman monsters. Always will be my favourite (besides the Baali) .

  • I have never played a Tzimisce.I'd love to though.

They must have a killer rp.

  • To be honest i dont play Vampire anymore or any role playing games but when i did used to play Vampire i loved the Tzimisce, definately the most scary clan in the game besides the Baali.

  • wow realy i have played a tzimice plenty of time and the other 12 clans but of curse i have been playing vtm 4 many years.

  • I respect the Tremere, they're worthy adversaries, In one of the Cronicles I'm playing with a Tzimisce (my favorite clan) and I had to join forces with a Tremere and a Assamite. Imagine that.

  • I was in the same situation years ago. :) I was playing a Tzimisce and had to ally with an assamite, a Tremere and a Gangrel. But we do not play this "sect-crossover" stuff anymore, its not "realistic" within the game.

  • Well, being a Vampire isn't realistic at all XD, the Camarilla and the Sabbat joined cuz there's some scientist vampireslaying humans kicking kindred asses everywhere, and we had no choice, besides a Tremere, an Assamite and a Tzimisce in the same party really kick ass, we also have a Toreador, a Ventrue, a Brujah, and we had another Toreador that was slayed by werewolves now he's playing a Gangrel... I think we need a Nosferatu though...

  • Uh ... yeah, "scientist vampireslaying humans kicking kindred asses everywhere" sounds like Technocrazy. They are bad. And I mean bad. Fortunately they slay vampires only when the kindred overact. Normaly they only fight "reality deviants" i.e. Mage or Nephandi.

  • That's why i play dark ages.There's no sects.I mean,come on, the lasombra leaders of the Sabbat???Bullshit.

  • @Thrashismind : Yes and No - The Lasombra were the political/temporal leaders, yes, while the Tzimisce were more the 'Priesthood' and spiritual compass of the Sabbat. However, most of the Tzimisce chose to suffer the Lasombra's "direction" of the Sabbat, believing that the Tzimisce drive towards Metamorphosis was far more important as a key to the eventual defeat of the Antediluvians, and that 'playing politics' would have only served as a 'petty distraction' from that sacred task.

  • love these guys, but they scare the hell out of me!

  • *Taps foot* gief other clans plx

  • Yes, it took long, but now, there are on the way. :)

  • Good news :)

  • We as the Madman that I am and my clan so dearly beloved by all my selves, the clan so famous for seeing what others dont, the worlds beyond this one. We love vicissitude for its perfection, that of making the night beautiful in all its diversity, but fiends do not deserve such a power given to them, for destruction shall not be its purpose. Though not all of the fiends you speak of are so vicious in their creation and thse not vicious in nature make true art by the gift they do possess.

  • @VoxSangui

humans, and all living things are in constant shape shift, their flesh grows, the bone shapes itself, to become beautiful or frightning, and as it grows, it changes, it just becomes something more.

the true essence of Vicissitude is evolution and growth.

  • interesting that you would choose the most inhuman vampires to begin your series. i liked the range of pictures you included. are the tzimisce your favorite clan in masquerade?

  • Thank you. I choosed to start with Clan Tzimisce because they are the archenemys of Clan Tremere. My favorite Clan is Clan Tremere, although I did not liked them at the beginning. But after reading "Secrets of Clan Tremere" and finishing a Tremere only Chronicle, my players and I loved them. But I do not dislike Clan Tzimisce, my first Char was one. Every Clan has its merits and flaws.
