@zerooneonefive sure, the new C6 vettes handle well. but the NSX was engineered in 1990, and the chassis was used until 2005. it took GM 15 years to make a vette that could match all of its capabilities. (one could argue that the 2002 Z06 matched the NSX, but then again in 2002 Honda launched the NSX-R, which lapped many tracks faster than the C5 Z06)
