In good direct sunlight you can see that she is a very, very dark sable brown and she also has a small white patch of fur below here neck. But in spite of her little wyite spot she still looks like a little panther! She thinks she is real tough too, but she plays and bites very gently (for a cat).
Yes, in fact she is the one responsible for getting us interested in Ragtime and Jazz music! Before we met her we only listed to Native American Indian war chants. Now we listen to her Jazz & ragtime music and do the Charleston and the Ragtime One step.

Well, little Velvet wasn't in a real wrestling mood in this video, but sometimes she could take down Hulk Hogan!
Our kitty is really a very deep dark brown color and it is easy to see when she is in direct sunlight.

You have a bona fide all-black cat. I have an almost-black cat. She has 4 or 5 white hairs on her chest.
True black cats were nearly wiped out of existence during the Dark Ages of the cat.
It's hard to find one that's all black now.
I love true black cats. They look like tiny panthers. : )
