Well... I'm not sure about the music video, but the song's amazing. I'm only 12 but I love this band, I think that their style and lyrics are what more groups these days should strive for. Unfortunately, most of my friends don't agree. It makes me sad.

This was amazing. I've seen these guys live, and I lol'd so hard at Colin and Chris's death scene here, that was so deliberately overacted, the type of thing they do live when Colin intentionally pulls a cheesy rock pose or has an ironically bad guitar-duel with Chris, these guys are pure class, with their amazingly well composed music and genius lyrics, amazing skill and brilliant parodies of things that people take so seriously. Long live The Decemberists.

Even if the acting wasn't the greatest, these guys are song writers, not actors. They do a good job, a damned good job. The music is wonderful, the lyrics are better, and the situation is real. The guy doesn't always get the girl, the hero doesn't always survive the struggle. I think this is truly fantastic.
