@GoodCitizen44 A soldier in ww2? A german soldier.. right... Both my grandfathers, and my great grandfather fought in WW2, so don't give me your sob stories. You are now permitted to go fuckyourself.. oh, that's right, you're already letting another guy do it for you, no need :-)
@katatonia911 The German army was clearly the most well trained and motivated army in the world, however that does not excuse their failure to stand up to the manifestly inadequate political leadership, nor the complicity of many in the mass shootings of civilians in the east.
@disamjisa Germany was in a mess before adolf hilter era.lands have been cut off and given for france and poland.at the time of adolf hitler he regained the land, improved industry and economy,no unemployment at all and re-united deutschland(Germany and austria). He led them to success in all that, so they thought the war is the right decision.dont forget, england and france declared the war first in order to save poland, they also make the whole crisis by signing the humiliating Versailles treaty
@katatonia911 I agree Versailles precipitated World War 2, and Germany had legitimate grievances about Danzig, Rhineland, reparations
But.. Hitler did start the war with Poland, which clearly did not want war. Hitler was clearly extremely aggressive in his expansionism towards Austria and Czechoslovakia, and no other country engaged in the sort of systematic killing of civilians on the industrial scale that Germany did.
What the Nazis did really was evil, Hitler should have been stopped.
@disamjisa Sorry, germany didnt want the war with poland from the beginning , the truth is that poland procrastinated executing the treaty with germany(return german territories cutted from germany and added to poland in Versailles treaty) according to france and england advice and their willness to defend poland..According to that poland started to provoke germany which was a massive power.
@katatonia911 I'm sorry Katatonia, but you're totally wrong. I don't know where you get your history from, but you should actually read some academic papers or serious books about World War 2, perhaps that will give you a better understanding.. unless you are some kind of Neo-Nazi, in which case I'm wasting my words. (will continue with more than one posting so there is enough room for my comments)
@katatonia911 Poland did not "procrastinate" in signing a treaty over the Danzig question (I've never even heard of any that were proposed, there were negotiations, but no treaties). And you speak about the Danzig being incorporated back into the Reich like its a natural outcome.
It is hardly unusual that France and the UK, two democracies, would support the young democratic state of Poland that had been milked of its wealth and political independence by German Empire and Russia for centuries
@katatonia911 It is ironic you accuse Poland of being provocative by doing what was in their best interests, and not just bowing to the powerful neighboring bully. I guess your view is that a nation should just do whatever more powerful nation demand of them.
Your comment is funny considering Germany staged the Gleiwitz Incident, a day before Poland was invaded, as pretext for war; staging an attack on a German radio station near the Polish border to justify the invasion to the German people.
@katatonia911 Then there's the invasion of neutral countries like the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Norway, of Yugoslavia for not kneeling down like slaves to kiss Hitler's ring and do his bidding, and Germany's support for Italy's unprovoked invasion of Albania and Greece.
And worst crime, the deliberate policy to gas, shoot, hang and starve millions upon millions of Jews, Roma, Russian POWs, gay people. Ur comment is like justifying a serial killer because he had a bad childhood.
@katatonia911 the comment on 5.30 tells enough abouth the germans in that time ,calling the prisoners[soldiers in my opinien], degenerees how shut they call one testikelfuhrer and ,,dr,,goebbels limpfuck......just respect other ppl we are coming from one source ,they ,re just fuckt up and thougt they wore supirier on this planet
