this game made me actually resent scientists and even y science classes in high school

  • @Minan3 Haha just incase the turned u into a swinging blonde headed house XD

  • @Minan3 Haha just incase the turned u into a swinging blonde headed house XD

  • @Minan3 haha XD ide rather be myself than some fucked up thing XD

  • @THEHOFF2k8 HA!! i'd rather be a final fantasy character than a monster XD

just a come back joke-- its saying what my other comment said but in paraphrasing XD

  • heyy and then how ca you swap discs?

  • omg u dont need 2 buy it on psn, just download the ff7 img file (disc 1,2 and 3) and convert 2 EBOOT.PBP and make a folder and paste the eboot and keys into da folder....to convert the img file u need a program called pop something..and yea i did tht for my psp....

  • There is a Problem. How to do R2 and L2?

  • @Schnitzelwario when u press home u go 2 controller settings and set the controls there...==

  • With the thumb... stick... thing. The nub in the bottom-left part of the system. Left is L2, right is R2, and up is L2+R2. I wasn't sure how it would work, either, until I tried it out. Works like a charm. ;)

  • For the complete dummy guy, I have a japanese ffvii psp (crisis core version) and would like to play my playstation games on my psp. Where on off do I start? and is there a way of transfering your ps1 memory card onto your psp memory stick? I am clueless about all this technical stuff :(

  • ........nooooo u download it from the PS network your Ps1 is non needed

  • i take that back.....ya im an idiot just download it

  • I can not for the life of me find FF7 on the playstation store. God I want to play it through, As I like all the FF 7 characters from the game and Advent Children. But for some reason I can't seem to find the damn game on the playstation store.

  • Well if you haven't found it by now, it's under "Classic ps1 titles" or whatever it is, then the RPG subsection.

  • Yeah I didn't realize I had to download the psn store thing, so I found it. I'm lvl 50 and just about to go to the temple of the ancients.

  • really it's one of the top downloads i easly found it on my ps3

  • @xinic5

Sorry, but you must be mentally retarded for being able to not find it...You just go to the search bar on the Media Go system, and search Final Fantasy 7

  • Well first off, I at the time had not downloaded the psn store to my psp so I was looking at something else thinking it was the playstation store. And I have already found the psn store and ff7 on it, played it and beat it since that comment.

I don't get why you have to be an ass about it.

  • do you need to download this game or can you get it in stores? i dont have a Ps2 or 3 so i cant download nething, unless you can do it through ur comp, this may judge me getting a PSP so please reply ^^

  • I own the PAL game, but I downloaded an NTSC version for compatability.

You can get it for PSP using the PC, and I think with the latest firmware you can legitimately buy it using the PSP's in game store browser. (Have to pay tho).

  • you can get of the playstation store

  • I've never been happier than when I'm sitting on the bus playing FF7...

Question: In the original FF7, you held L1+L2+R1+R2 to increase chocobo stamina in races. But the PSP has no L2/R2.. Is there another way to increase stamina on the PSP?

  • Solution: L1 + R1 + Square + Analog stick up

  • always wondered

  • just bought this on ps store im 60% downloaded

  • Id rather buy the game instead of CUSTOM firmwiring the shit out of your PSP and half the time causing it to break (Only lazy cheap douches do this)

  • But he got to play it 2.5 years earlier ^^

  • true

  • you can just buy the game now on psn for $10.00

  • can u link the URL for where it is on PSN cause i cant find it in any of the psp downloadables and im being made sad

  • I had confusin at first...

Im guessing you want to download it to PC and then load it on your psp right?

well first you have to download "media go" client. that gives you access to the playstation store. from there its pretty easy to find

  • It's under "Classics" in the PSN store, not under "PSP."

  • I love how Square just shut every hacker out there up with a sweet $10 deal.

  • lol yea

  • do u still gotta downgrade and all that ****

  • You need a ps3 though it sucks man i was so psyched im prolly just gonna buy a ps3 download ff7 and return the ps3 the same day. best game ever made btw dissidia is gonna be sick!

  • Ask around if a friend will let you download it on theirs. Or put an ad out on craigslist asking if somoene will download this, and youll pay for it, and upload it to your psp, and let them keep the copy on their ps3.

  • Amen

  • no you don't need a ps3..

all you need is a usb cord from your psp to your PC. then download the playstation network client for pc. then download thats all u got to do.

but u least have to have a psp

  • yup that is true but those of you who have ps3 download ff7 and use the usb to hook up to you ps3 then just transfer it to psp ff8 should be at the playstation store and by years end

  • everybody knows that its way easer

  • I found that the 3.72 works the best for the 5.00 M33 CFW. I tried others but the only one that was even close to that one was 3.71, but that ran the game and music a bit faster than usual and I would get severe graphical corruption when certain enemies did certain attacks or I entered certain areas. All that is fixed. You have to have the same name and save name for all 3 discs in order for the saves to work on your PSP as well. This can be done using popstation.

  • 3.72 popsloader that is.

  • Okay, well I tried both 3.72 and 3.71 which both work fine until the part on Disc 2, where you have to use the Key of the Ancients to activate the waterfall. I go into the water fall, and then the game crashes. Any ideas?

  • One program, PSX2PSP GUI. Also you'll need a program to dump the img to an ISO, I suggest IMGBurn. If using imgburn, just put the disc in the drive, run the program, rip disc to hard drive. Then run PSX2PSP GUI (google it), add the ISO into the program, configure game as you wish (you can set backgrounds for the PSP menu and whatnot), and click convert. Gives u a .eboot file, that gets put in ur psp/game folder on ur PSP. Requires a hacked firmware, which, ask anyone you know that has one :P

  • each ISO = around 600mb, so 2gb for all 3 discs. You can hot swap them 1 buy one if you only have a 512 of 1gb one.

  • im sorry but im a complete idiot (as the name suggests) and i was wondering how you would go about doing this, could you please help me, all i know is you need a psp, ms pro duo, the disc and a pc but what else?

  • how big of a memory stick do you need to get all three discs onto it?

  • wow long time ago i did this i can do everything now whitout thinking cool

  • anyone live in the greater vancouver area that can do it for me? ill pay 10$(don't think im cheap because this can be done for free)

  • hey plz reply me i want to kno step by step how to do this and what sites and downloads i need :D msg me bak and does it work for the newer slim psp?

  • My M33 version freezes up around the Don Corneo mansion. D: Blows big time.

Did yours? I'm too lazy to research to fix it so I'll just grab a cd2 save XD

  • i use it many months ago, and it's great full to play the FF7 with only a custom PSP version

  • how do you convert the ISO file? what program do you use????

  • where do you download the iso files from?

  • is there any way to hack psp version 2.8??

  • yo could u help me out man (or anyone) my psp stopped detecting the memory stick pro duo and now i cnt acess any music video or photos or do any saves and im not sure if the psp is busted or the memory stick

  • How this exactly work with the multiple cd system?

  • Basicly every PS1 game has an ID attached to it. When converting you simply have to make sure the ID is the same for CD 1 as CD 2. No problems their!

  • kk ty

  • it looks so smooth!

  • did you pay for ff7?

  • Yes sir! Used a legit PS1 PAL version. Their 'MAY' be other backups on the net, but whats the point if you own the game?

  • not exactly. it's a little more complex than that. The psp does not actually from the .iso file. it needs to be converted into an EBOOT.PBP for it to work.

  • how do you get it to run on the PSP? Just throw in on there and have the firmware installed?

  • Ahhhh, reminiscent.

  • Pretty sweet stuff.

  • this is amazing.. getting a psp now!

  • haha! Bloody oath mate! I was never big on the PSP as being a proud DS owner, but once the latest hacked firmware came out I ebayed myself one for $150 Australian Dollars and got a 1gb memory card for $3! I now love my PSP and eBay! Its easy as to do and converting a PSX ISO takes roughly 30 seconds! Booyah!

  • Maybe the sound delay is the video...its very possible.

  • Yup! Thats what happends when you take a good video with high framerate and up it to youtube :P

  • I hope that sound delay is just a bad encode and not what it's actually like
