As a Devils fan, respect to Coburn for knowing that what he did would have consequences, and then doing the honorable thing (rather than having a teammate fight his battles for him). He squared off with Rupp, and took off his helmet and gloves (as Rupp did) for a clean fight- this is a guy that understands the code of the NHL. When Rupp challenged him, he obliged. I didn't like the hit, but I definitely respect the fact that he made himself accountable for it.
