@AZ09JH I get this question a lot. The orange tips are BFAs, Blank Firing Attachment. We're all using blanks and the BFA is attached so the gas blowback of the weapon will still operate, ejecting the round and allowing us to fire on semi automatic/automatic instead of having to rack the weapon after each shot.

But we have a retractable ladder on some of them :D I think the best idea to get off is to have on foot, one arm and then vault off the vehicle.

@napalmrat i can answer that, m16 BFA is red, while m4 BFA is genneraly yellow(different because of the different gas system). British Army probably use the one ment for M4's(on their L86's?).
