  • this is dangerous and unnecessary ...

  • does he have aids

  • and sorry i know my spelling was awful there. but yeah,

the main reason people dont use them for single lift attempts is becuase they are just to damn expenisive.

i meen for somthing like a 4kg kettle ball its lie £20 so to get tons of them.

would be expensive and un practical.

anyway cant people just admit the man is strong!!

instead of trying to justify what they think.

with just aloud of bollucks. like e.g. your form bad or you aint ment to do that.

    give praise where its due!!!

  • hey i am going to put an end to the kettle ball nonsense.

first of all this man is an extremly strong man congratiolations.

most people cant one hand dl that much weight.

so to put it over you heard is a impressive admirable feat of strength.

and to the know it alls who say kettle balls are for endurance.

the only reason they are so popular for endurance.

is becuase kettle balls are to expensive to by eneogh weight for single lift attempts. that is the reason why people dont use them for that!

  • Impressive mate! You're a monster!

  • admirable effort, ugly technique. Too much bravado with KBs. Focus on good technique and a lighter weight my friend. But I take my hat off to you for effort.

  • Jimmy, how are you old?

  • It Was his Long Hair that did it!

  • Nathan Explosion

  • Great work, outstanding!

In my opinion, you should train for one arm handstand pushups. Your arm power can be enough for that, and if you have the technique, you will certainly do it.

  • holy moly those arms are deceiving

  • ah this guy again! really strong though

  • Comment removed

  • Nice work mate! Just got my 64kg... jeeez, its a jump from 40kg! How long did it take you to go from 40 to 60? Did you just clean it and keep trying to press it?

  • @ElTorroist exactly that, clean it, then press it anyway you can, as far as i can see theres not a whole lot more prep you can do, just dont be discouraged by failure.

  • @jimmyjimmyf Right, halfway there! Been working it and can get the half press, but its just that confidence it aint gonna twist and rip my arm out, lol! I think to be honest the only thing holding me back now is the tunes... gotta find the right one, and she's up... tried disturbed, but no good, its shit and overplayed... gonna try some strapping young lad tomorrow...

  • @jimmyjimmyf , totally disagree. There's a lot of prep you can do and it starts with learning proper technique, then gradually increasing weight.

  • That was brutal.

  • I can't beleive that there is people who say nice job .....You guys don't know shit about kettlebell if you think that the guy did a nice job....poor form , to heavy and not enough reps ....kettlebell works strenght endurence ......anyway that was not a nice job.. sorry ...look up valery fedorenko and steve cotter if you want to see good kettlebell lifts , then you 'll be able to say nice job

  • @rinlag1 you could have said all that without the negativity bud. but good on the references.

  • @rinlag1 valery fedorenko? oh i see, so what you're saying is because i dont lift like the leading authority on sport lifting that it negates any effort put into anything i do here? heres a warning to all you lifters out there, don't bother posting on youtube unless youve broke a record already or won some titles, else some people will just not like it.

  • @jimmyjimmyf You need to read my comment carefully cause you're overreacting...I mentioned Fédorenko et cotter as references to what kettlebell lifting was all about....and the fact is that the way you lifted your kettlebell was with poor form , and it was obviously to heavy for you ....I give you the effort .....but don't wait for me to say that you did a good job lifting that kettlebell....And my comment went to those who were saying that you did a good job not to you directly.....

  • @jimmyjimmyf Your response misses the point. It is not your qualifications or profession that matter, but safety. It is impressive that you are manipulating 60 kg, but the potential for injury or risk of long term joint problems due to lack of attention to form (as displayed in this video) is equally unimpressive. That's all :)

  • @jimmyjimmyf , dude, it's not about how much you lift. It's how you lift it. How about you post a video using proper form with a 20kg or even a 16kg?

  • @DeezDz how about you post a video of you lifting anything before you cast criticisms for a start, secondly, to say 'it is not about how much weight you lift,' implies you know what 'it' is I'm training for, which you don't, there is no unifying principle behind putting weight above your head, I am not competing in GS or anything like that, just making myself stronger. And its working, bad form or not. Not to mention this video is one of my first attempts at lifting 60kg.

  • @rinlag1 also if you could point me in the direction of a VF or steve cotter vid that shows him actually pressing anything over 55kg, like a bent press or side press, as long as it's not a push press or jerk, i'll be happy to study the form and structure so i can finally get to the bottom of all the negative comments that reference other lifters that do nothing but lift kettlebells for a living.

  • @jimmyjimmyf Well that's the thing...KB lifting aint about lifting your max weight one time cause every strong guy on the street can do that .the purpose with kb is to build your conditionning so you can lift a decent weight for maximum reps or time....Kb lifting is for strenght endurance and conditionning..Your strong dude , no doubt about it but it's not impressive cause there are strong people everywhere but there's not a lot of people that can snatch a 48kg for 10 min straight with good form

  • @rinlag1 The form police strikes again... Look, most lifters stepping up to the next level KB will feel a little shaky at first, but after a while, confidence and routine cleans things up. Give the guy a break. And if he wants to work pure strength, what's wrong with that? Can you only use a kettlebell one way? KB's are versatile strength tools, no need to go all dogmatic...

  • @rinlag1 Kettlebells work strength endurance? Yes, but also explosive strength, max strength. Depending upon the weight and the exercise. As far as I know, no-one owns the concept of kettlebells despite all the bullshit and the attempts to cash in on it. Telling someone they shouldn't do it like that, they should do it like this just smacks of form naziism and lift jealousy.

It's not a perfect lift by any means, but it's still a lift. That's a good effort.

  • @rinlag1 Implying kettlebells can only be used for strength endurance is also ignorant

  • @rinlag1 could you please upload videos showing yourself with 60 kg kettlebell? Just to compare ...

  • Very nice dude and you are very strong.

However with the wide stance and toes slightly pointing out you are leaking up to 30% of your power. Your upper body strength is formidable but I can see your hips are the weak point.

I guarantee if you follow strict Pavel Tsatsouline for you will be able to do alot better!

    Keep it up :)

  • you're strong, but you also seriously need to improve the form of the exercise

  • be careful man with that weight lifting it the wrong way could injure you. your strong for sure but to do the snatches you need to be even stronger

  • you are strong , but I think you should do a few reps with your 60kg then train with

30- 40kg many reps for 20 minutes and lift this big 60kg seriously from time to time to check progress.

    you will improve faster.

  • Damn u look like Peter from TypeOnegative! Nice lifting man.

  • I was just gonna say that

  • Aren't you that dude from Dethklok?

  • wow thats what i call commitment ! training at work!!

i hate work! i love kettlebells!

  • Awesome! you are very strong! What are you other presses like? barbell, reps with the 48kg etc I'm very interested to know.

    Keep up the great progress!

  • i don't have a 48kg so i don't really know, i do very little barbell work but when i last did some bench pressing i think i managed 150kg or so, nothing spectacular, i did a barbell bent press with 66kg once but my bent press technique is crap and looks more like a side press. My bar is way too thin though, It felt like i was gripping it with my palm instead of my fingers which made it really off balance. Havent tried since, I was doing about 10 reps of the 40kg kb before moving on to 60 btw.

  • That is pretty inspiring dude.

  • that is one heck of a bigMOFO kettlebell !! and much kudos for the snatches !!

  • Thanks, A lot of people seem to think that snatches are the most difficult thing to do with the titan. what most will find is that with a good swing it flies up, its just scary at first throwing almost the weight of a washing machine overhead lol, more of a mental barrier i think.

  • SUPERB

  • GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Respect!!!

    kObA Japan

  • Thanks man

  • where are you. looks like the back room of a grocery store

  • I have to train on lunch breaks so yep, that's a warehouse behind me lol, im about 6ft 1 btw.
