Hey man that sounds pretty good.. I have a 98 acura cl with the 2.3 and its hard to find an intake under my cars name. Do you think i can use an intake that would be fitted on accord 2.3? I mean its basically the same engine dont u think?
@dave451pr You should be able to cuz I put a h22a1 coldair from a 98 prelude an it fit with no problem's in my 99 accord sedan. The only thing you might have to do is make so supports to hole it down from moveing like I had to do.
@robh23a1 Yea man thanks. I just threw on a short ram intake for a 98 accord. Thanks for the advice. Any recommedations for exhaust/mufflers? This is the same person btw, i just change my accound name.
@speedavecl92 well if you can put a greddy evo2 exhaust on it. Since you have a f23a1 engine, you should be able to put 98-01 accord engine mod's on for that motor on it. Anything bolt that will fit a f23a1 motor should fit with car no problem.
i have a 99 accord 4 cyl 5 speed i/h/e and chipped out and im doing 0-60 in 6.2 seconds 6.1 being personal best. this car can be slow like when u pop into 4th for instance u lose all torque lol but if you know how to work the clutch this car can be a sleeper. i beat my friends '02 rsxs down i-80 his car is stock but still...hes got 200hp im only running about 170-180 the only variable is the drivers skill...
@skunk2rider what chip do you have? and its obd-2 with headers did u get a hi-flow cat and did it set off check engine light i want to do shit to my h23a1 so bad but im afraid of check engine light i miss my obd-1 :(
In my opinion it is the F23A is a Great SOHC motor to Turbo.. it can handle tons of boost without having to change out some internals to handle it... ive heard of up to 18psi on a stock F23a that stayed that way for 6 months now with no problems
slowing your flow doesnt mean less power. The f23 is an economy engine. Its already breathing easily. If u put an exhaust on there u will lose low end torque. The only exhaust I would risk putting on a honda is MUGEN
I got the Rims on ill go wash it and get the video on here. The intake works great in my opinion. as u can see i moved the resevoir and ran the intake that way. exhaust is my next step.

drew9555, I have been thinking of installing short ram intake in my 2000 Honda Accord SE. I plan do it myself, but I haven't found any pic for at least to get an idea how to fix it. From your video, now I have a lot better idea. Is that AEM intake?Post your thoughts on that intake. Thanks.
I also have a 2000 Honda Accord SE and am planning on doing the same thing with a short ram intake. I don't know where to get it yet though and also plan on installing it myself. If you find anything out please let me know!!!!
Hey that's great to know. Google Andy's auto place to reach the online store that sells all the tuning related stuff. My major concern is the increase in the noise. Not sure how much it will increase & if I want it to.But will post my comments after some research.
