when on stock an evo will idle round 500rpm, which is pretty low, but the right idle never the less. but when u chuck on 272 cams on, it will push the idle way above 1200 to keep the engine going! therefore, better take offs and over all performance! i only hope u dont pull across next to cops at the lights! then u can kiss goodbye to ur 272's!

it is illegal to cam your car or in that matter to do anything aftermarket to your car. That's why companies always put for off-road use only. Cops rarely will pull you over for it though, unless they are dicks.

im in the USA. That is why companies that sell aftermarket parts to you put "for off road use only" legally if a cop wanted to stop you and impound your car he has every right to do so if he knows its aftermarket. Dont know of a cop that would do that bc frankly its to much of a pain in the ass for them and there is too many cars out there with aftermarket to even  begin to start doing it

I'm not quite sure where you got the idea that all aftermarket parts are illegal. The only thing I know of that's illegal is underglow, steelfiber intake filters, blowers, and if your county/province/city has high emission standards test pipes.

I have an internship with our counties sheriff department. I took criminal justice classes. Just got hired for baltimore county cadet program. So I do know a little bit. Most aftermarket parts arent street legal. Not saying all of it is but, most of it is illegal.

It is a 2003 Evo VIII and the exhaust is a Buschur 3" with a MagnaFlow muffler.

The lobe seperation is 110 degrees correct? With that duration, and lobe seperation angle, your not gonna completely get rid of the lope.

Nothing wrong with it? Time to degree your cams and be somewhere within specification of the manufactures rotating chart.

Not trying to be "ignorant" or "stupid" but like I said, tune away the lope and you'll be happier. ;-)
