I came to this video because a comment on the intro for ACR preferred this intro. I prefer ACR's over all (though I haven't seen AC1's yet) because this scene doesn't move me. If someone told me to climb to the top of a steeple for something special, but the something special just being that view, I would be and am unimpressed and disappointed.

I have never been a huge gamer... I played the Harry Potter games of the first 3-4 movies (which you could finish in less than 2 days) when I was too young to play any other games. I played The Battle for Middle-Earth I and II, over the course of a few years, only very occasionally. I played Guild Wars, but never finished all the campaigns (lost interest). And then I saw this scene at a friend's house. That is when I started to play Assassin's Creed. These games are simply amazing.
