@vallegrl37 well, the video is not real, it's just after effects( that fact= already covered) But the actual series Avatar was based on the elements of Tai chi. Bending the elements is real, though, in the Japanese/ Chinese cultures.

I just want to point out that bending is 100% real there are several websites that teaxh you how to bend the elements. I researched and found out that bending comes in 5 forms. Fire,water,earth,air/wind, and an energy that has no form yet. I have personally tried to bend and i am slowly progressing. A brilliant display of digital effects prowess and skill with Tai Chi. Alot of the people who make videos were they use digital effects to create bending tend to forget or not use the basis of martial arts that are used in the bending of the elements, but you definatley did your research with these forms. Anyways, these effects are done pretty well, better than most here. I've been learning Maya, also by Autodesk, for almost the same purpose as 3DS Max.
