Rift Mage Build - Necro/lock/arch Solo Rifts and AOE pull (for newbies+)

You recommend to level with this build as mage? I am thinking about returning to the game as a mage but can't decide what souls to use to level with.

When I started the 7 day free trial of rift, my first toon was a Necromancer. And that was based upon no research at all. Im level 19 now and Im just now looking on youtube for rotations and builds. I played wow for 4 years so I have a general good knowledge on how to play casters. My build wasnt to far off from yours. I think ill do some switching of skills in different places and try your spec. I wish we could have addons like Recount and Omen inside Rift, along with target dummys.

You can solo about anything Group Quest in RIFT with Necro/lock only thing it doesnt do is the cyclope quest in DLands

@hestekadaver ive suddenly had a bunch of people asking for macros on this video, when i really dont use any for this build, its 90% instant cast spells with no CD's so no need for macros. macros for this build wouldnt even change anything. just give u slightly less hot keys. this build is the DOT king, so just instant cast away while running in circles on mobs and PVP.

love ur mage builds, just tried them. LOVE THEM! and im lvl 20 so this is good speccs for me! thnx alot man, hope i will see more about mage speccs here :)

Not bad man. I still prefer Elementalist/Chloromancer as a solo leveling build. put sysnthesis on your pet and you're good to go. =P
