actually its pretty easy to 'cheat' while using a laptop as software like traktor can pretty much mix it for you. but that doesn't mean that everyone using a laptop is making use of these features, and in fact the stuff you can do with software like ableton and midi controllers can be way more complicated and difficult than regular djing.
