Thanks for the comment and rating. The original vid had a Glenn Miller soundtrack for that '40's feel, but YT silenced it with their copyright filter. I got lucky when i found this music in audio swap. I've viewed this a few times since it was posted just to hear the new track :) I hope you can find the time to take a ride like it for yourself some day. Gotta warn you though, you may find yourself going back for another and another - which is what has happened to me.
Thanks for commenting. All the credit for the stunt flying goes to Mike who's in the back seat. He's a fantastic pilot with 1000's of hours logged. There's a link to his website in the info section.
Thanks for commenting. I added some detail to the description section since the 500 character limit in the comments section never seems to be enough for me. WWII era planes are especially interesting machines to me. The advances made from Dec. 1903 , Wright bros. first powered flght lasting 12 seconds, to what they were capable of in the 1940's is amazing. Leads me to think that much of what is considered impossible and unbelievable to many today, can become accepted science at anytime.
I had last week a similar experiance ina Stearman in Europe. The music and the images reflecs perfect the feeling!

Thanks.. I'm pretty sure this one is a Continental R-670-5 Seven-cylinder radial engine, 220 hp. It''s a PT-17 Kaydet.
