@urajokeMC Querkle is from TGA Subcool. Definitely a good yeilder, and a really good smoke. A couple people have said it's their favorite that i've grown. It was easy to grow I guess... no issues other than the ones I caused.

@dragon2060 Actually, it depends if you have a humid environment. If you dry them in a low humid space and cut the leaves off, then your bud dries too quickly. And that will hurt the quality. Humidity is key, and if you have been growing for years, you should KNOW this.
@YourFace i started this year like last summer so im still learning and i didnt know that so thank you for the info we for the most part just cut the leaves off then hang it for a day or two by the light and if its to big we dry it then put it in a sealed case for 10 or 12 hours to pull out some of the water from the middle

@mysoulhaunts I think Hindu Skunk (hindu kush X skunk) is a good one to start with. They also call it Master Kush. The skunk crossed into it makes it more stable. Also PPP (pure power plant) is another good beginner plant. They are all hearty and hard to kill. I'd go with one of those.
Is there any particular reason why you pulled all the fan leaves off after harvesting. In other words, have you ever tried re-vegging your plants after harvest? You have some awesome trees; it's a shame to let all that stalk go to waste.
@lamborghinimeany I have always taken brakes between grows and built a new setup. I'm building a new setup this next grow as well. Plus I like growing different strains each grow. I might reveg someday... but I think I like more variety with different strains each grow.
hi... me again. i tried this now.well, not this, a normal horizontal scrog on 75x50 cm and 250w ndl (ca. 30"x20"). i have not more than 60cm (~23.6") space above the screen, cuz its inside a modificated commode. so actually there are maybe 15" space for the plants to grow buds. now my problem: they grew over 30" and into the lamp, so i had to bend them like hell. now, close to harvest, i look into the box, and there is just a giant chaos of buds, sticks, bending wires and im not sure,

I think the main reason for my problem was the timing. i should had either 1. started flowering earlier, when the screen was not full of green, and bend the plants on the screen until 3rd or 4th week of flowering until they really stop to grow or 2. use a blue MH lamp for first weeks of flowering or 3. prune them after started flowering or 4. use less plants,

@rockmanalways I bought the ballast by itself. You need an extenstion cord, or a plug end to some other appliance... cut it and splice the wires to the ones on the ballast. Then you need some extension wire to run from the ballast to the socket. And you need a socket. Then you need a way to mount it. All depends how you want it set up on the mounting type. The rest you need no matter what. ALso you can chain mulitple ballasts to one plug... but you need to do it right.

Have you considered trying to increase root mass by rooting the stems at nodes? Although your root mass is extraordinary already. What are those plants w/ no leaves I see all over? The buds with no leaves is just trimmed querkle. It all came from the closet. Querkle is Space Queen x Purple Erkle. Thanks for the love.

@Marleyites The stone thing is actually some kind of salt lamp. I got it as a gift from my father in law. It is hollowed out and has a small light in it and when it is lit up and warmed it purifies the air. The painting I did. It is actually the first painting I've ever done... glad you like it.
@scrogking So it is a crystal after all - thought so. It's made from Himalayan salt - which is a crystal. I had a couple of smaller blocks and they weren't smoothed, polished & hollowed out like yours. Very nice. Do you still paint or was that a one-shot thing? I really like it, there's a fun yet serious quality about it.
I'm still curious about those branches growing up the trellis but don't look like anything's growing on it. Are you the famous grower who only vegs for a few days then 12/12?
@Marleyites I am still painting sometimes. Done a couple more, but nothing as good as the first. I'll put them in my next video. The branches that are bare are just where I cut all the drying buds from. It used to be full, you can check my other vids. I harvest over a few days and left the parts I hadn't done yet growing on the plant. And no, I don't veg only a few days, I go usually 6 weeks or so. I'm not famous. Maybe you mean Heath Robinson. many people go strait from clones to 12/12.
@scrogking in horticulture class, i learned to graft & bud fruit trees. last night i read how to graft cannabis. have u tried to graft new cuttings on to the branches u already have? I wonder if that will cut down on time-to-harvest at all. ?? this vertical system might work in a big, upright freezer case, maybe use t5 HO flourescents or cfl. 3, 150w hps? (might be too hot, too close to plants in small area?) wonder how many plants? 3 or 4? do you know advantage to go from clone to 12-12? thnx!
@Marleyites I've never tried grafting. Would be interesting to see what happens. This system would work good in any space really... just need to tweak it to make it right. I had 1000w right next to the plants (about 6" at the closest), you just need to have lots of air movement to keep it cool. Depends on how large you want the plants, you could do 1-20 depending on the size. The main advantage to going strait to 12/12 is time to harvest. No time 'wasted' vegging. more harvests per year.

@Rvd420WHAT I only use clones from Oaksterdam University. I'm not sure the genetics of the odyssey, but I really like the high. However, I only got like 14 grams from the plant. Each of the querkles gave me at least 3 oz. Not sure if it was just me or what. Thanks for checking my setup out. Glad you like it.

@Dougyelnats Tough question. Really depends. The purple kush and the sour grape were the lowest yeilders, but the high was the best. The hindu skunk and casey jones were the heaviest yeilders and the heaviest high, but not as good as those other two. I think the querkle is really good too... maybe the best overall considering yeild and high.
@johnnyMOEE it's not dry yet. I should post the weight in a few days. I'm thinking like 6 -7 ounces. Not the best yeild, but considering all the problems I had this run, I'll take it.
@SpidermanRun There is some powdery mildew on the plants. I want to trim them as they are still wet, so I can cut off all the PM. When it dries the PM is hard to see, so I leave the buds on the plant till they are ready to trim.
@andysleighter Nope. I only had them on for maybe 8-10 days longer. I don't think that's fast enough for something like that to happen. I've never had my plants hermie or make seeds from progressive havesting.

@Marleyites I stole the idea from a guy named Heath Robinson... you should look up his grow it's amazing. Never done that root thing... my roots are usually too much for the space anyways. The buds with no leaves is just trimmed querkle. It all came from the closet. Querkle is Space Queen x Purple Erkle. Thanks for the love.

@Marleyites The stone thing is actually some kind of salt lamp. I got it as a gift from my father in law. It is hollowed out and has a small light in it and when it is lit up and warmed it purifies the air. The painting I did. It is actually the first painting I've ever done... glad you like it.

@scrogking So it is a crystal after all - thought so. It's made from Himalayan salt - which is a crystal. I had a couple of smaller blocks and they weren't smoothed, polished & hollowed out like yours. Very nice. Do you still paint or was that a one-shot thing? I really like it, there's a fun yet serious quality about it.
I'm still curious about those branches growing up the trellis but don't look like anything's growing on it. Are you the famous grower who only vegs for a few days then 12/12?

@Marleyites I am still painting sometimes. Done a couple more, but nothing as good as the first. I'll put them in my next video. The branches that are bare are just where I cut all the drying buds from. It used to be full, you can check my other vids. I harvest over a few days and left the parts I hadn't done yet growing on the plant. And no, I don't veg only a few days, I go usually 6 weeks or so. I'm not famous. Maybe you mean Heath Robinson. many people go strait from clones to 12/12.

@scrogking in horticulture class, i learned to graft & bud fruit trees. last night i read how to graft cannabis. have u tried to graft new cuttings on to the branches u already have? I wonder if that will cut down on time-to-harvest at all. ?? this vertical system might work in a big, upright freezer case, maybe use t5 HO flourescents or cfl. 3, 150w hps? (might be too hot, too close to plants in small area?) wonder how many plants? 3 or 4? do you know advantage to go from clone to 12-12? thnx!

@Marleyites I've never tried grafting. Would be interesting to see what happens. This system would work good in any space really... just need to tweak it to make it right. I had 1000w right next to the plants (about 6" at the closest), you just need to have lots of air movement to keep it cool. Depends on how large you want the plants, you could do 1-20 depending on the size. The main advantage to going strait to 12/12 is time to harvest. No time 'wasted' vegging. more harvests per year.

@Rvd420WHAT Mine didn't turn purple... people said I didn't let it go long enough. I don't know. My odyssey turned purple as fuck. First true purple plant I've ever grown. Man I love the querkle high. Pretty hard core. Taste is good. I'd give it an 8 on taste. peace bro.

@Rvd420WHAT I only use clones from Oaksterdam University. I'm not sure the genetics of the odyssey, but I really like the high. However, I only got like 14 grams from the plant. Each of the querkles gave me at least 3 oz. Not sure if it was just me or what. Thanks for checking my setup out. Glad you like it.

@808homegrownz I'm quitting smoking pot. And I think at the beginning it will be hard to grow dank, and not have any of it. And don't worry... I'm not against weed now. I still love it. Always will. Hope it get's legal. Hope ya'll keep growing and smoking. It's just not working for me at the moment. I got my first kid on the way and I have to deal with my life a little. I think I will probably grow in a little while... like you said for peace and the community.

@sldunn01 She runs a company funded by the state. She saves state instututions money... and in turn saves tax payers money. She works from home most of the time so we are together a lot. It's pretty awesome. However, I'm getting into real estate now, so she can retire and spend her time writing books and recording podcasts which is what she loves to do. thanks for asking.

@sldunn01 I've tried it. Nothing with too much cure in it.... but damn. It's good. I kinda don't like smoking any of my other stuff becuase I like the querkle so much. Reminds me of my purple kush a bit (the high I mean).

@Dougyelnats Tough question. Really depends. The purple kush and the sour grape were the lowest yeilders, but the high was the best. The hindu skunk and casey jones were the heaviest yeilders and the heaviest high, but not as good as those other two. I think the querkle is really good too... maybe the best overall considering yeild and high.

@SpidermanRun There is some powdery mildew on the plants. I want to trim them as they are still wet, so I can cut off all the PM. When it dries the PM is hard to see, so I leave the buds on the plant till they are ready to trim.

@andysleighter Nope. I only had them on for maybe 8-10 days longer. I don't think that's fast enough for something like that to happen. I've never had my plants hermie or make seeds from progressive havesting.

@marcoze that's funny. My buddy found a seed in a bar once... grew it out and it was the weirdest plant ever. Had a calyx about every inch along the braches... no trics... and one branch was strait up male. LIke a hermie from the get go. Weird.
