Im 15 and i have taken trips to saltburn since i was 12 on my own to sit, watch the sea and think over my problems i love that place its almost a paradise to me
thank you for showing saltburn and surrounding areas for what it truly is like .we seem to be so bad pressed lately but it truly is a nice area to live in.
Nice movie! If you get the chance to shoot some Saltburn downtown scenes it would be nice! And, if you're passing, shots of 3 Ruskin Avenue would be nice to see again! Cheers, Simon in Stockholm
Certainly brought back a few memories! I was born in Saltburn, 51 years ago! We had a chalet by the steep hill going up to town...I see that they are still there! My childhood days were spent fishing off the end of the then much longer pier (fishing ticket cost sixpence!), that used to sway when the surf was up! Quite unerving for a small boy when walking back to the pier entrance with a "billet" that I'd caught for supper! They tasted foul!
The music is from the 1997 film soundtrack "Keep the Aspidistra Flying" starring Richard E. Grant. The full soundtrack was written and composed by Mike Batt.
Ah ha! Thanks for that. After checking Mike's details I then realised the tune was used for a Katie Melua track, of whom he is the manager!! Cheers sir
A lovely video. It brings back so many good memories. The music is beautiful too. Thanks for posting.
