@flamesdemon19 i get where you are coming from, but you're blowing it out of proportion. I still love the old lara, in fact i play tomb raider 2 and 3 very often. I loved how you could just blast your way through levels without cutscenes and trying to think about complicated stories and emotions, but the newer lara's have depth and so it gives the games more meaning and feels like you are doing what you are doing for a purpose, not just to kill people. I love old and new lara both equally :)

@MrsKittykatt009 I've got the answer you are looking for.In TR 1 you just shoot people,with no emotion or remorse.You don't see Larson diying in a cutscene or cinematic but you know he's dead cause he's liying on the ground dead.And besides,in TR 1,you don't see Pierre diying either.You just know he is.Like with all the bosses.CORE couldn't know C.D. would fuck up their story and so they didn't put any cutscene where he dies.It was unnecessary.All they put was his corpse once he's dead.
The only reservation I have about the new ones is that they're not as challenging as the old ones. Other than that, the new ones are getting better and making Lara a more interesting character and not just the sex kitten with guns and a mansion.
the controls for tomb raider 2 are almost exactly the same as for 1, and lara handles better in number 2. she has a button for lighting flares also, and a lot of people think number 2 is the best tr made. my favourite tomb raider is normally the one im playing.

and other think.. the gameplay graphics of the anniversary its better than the old cinematic... on that we can see how great progress the computers made on this years...
How are they better when Lara is constantly upset or scared? She looks like a little child trying to find her mommy in a lost store. Everything blends in with each other.
Tomb Raider Anniversary, for me the Best of All.. I loved the first.. its my favorite, but the anniversary bring that great game mixed with the actual graphics, so better only the next anniversary :D

I hate this new game. It soooo degrades the old game. The old game was much better, and much easier to control. I hate Crystal Dynamics for ruining such a wonderful game.

Tomb Raider Anniversary, for me the Best of All.. I loved the first.. its my favorite, but the anniversary bring that great game mixed with the actual graphics, so better only the next anniversary :D
