@SoapClawtooth No they're from a documentary that was done from a channel 4 documentary that was done at Glastonbury 1992. It was to highlight the ongoing dispute between Michael Eavis and the residents of Glastonbury that seem to go on every year. The whole of the documentary is on Youtube somewhere but unfortunately I've forgotten the name of it, I'm sure if you search with Michael Eavis it'll show up.
Oh yeah public school educated Jeremy asking why the travellers weren't allowed into the festival site free of charge.Of course travellers are way too cool to buy their own ticket.
i was there in 1985. i was on strike at the pit and thought I'd drop out in somerset as my house had reposed, the fucking pigs, were do they all come from, i thought I'd left them behind in the north east. we are in a police state man. . thatcher fucked up everything, I'm glad she is ill in hospital and i will be happy when she dies ! !
@leonmcveigh fuck yeah i so agree with u !!!!! never been but the tales my freinds have told me are awfull if it gets any worse - well who knows what i'll do?
The most awesome band in the universe - seeing this makes you realise that no matter what the state tries to do to oppress people and their lifestyles they will never take away our spirit.
cos what the fuck does it mattter where you from as long as you having good time/ sure that comment wouldnt be there if it was white geeza/ dont know dont care
The footage is from The Glastonbury movie, nothing to do with one-sided anything! The political aspect is part of the Levellers, both historical and the band.
Thanks. My first Glastonbury was 1995 so I must have missed seeing them. It's a shame Glastonbury is no longer easy to get into for free... it's changed the atmosphere. Not nearly as good.
I agree with carpcrusader the sound wasn't the best on the leftfield stage at Glasto for the Levs. Beautiful Days will be the one to see them at - not long to go now, yay.
The turbanned gut at 0.41? There's few things that do, but he makes me proud to be British.

underrated band, seriously great
lladsbid 2 years ago
I don't think they're underrated, just that the people who like them are rather underground instead of go crazy for them on the net. :-)
(like people do for whatever shit pop artists there are around these days)
