i felt this quake in phoenix. at first we thought it was a truck driving by and then our chandelier started swaying and thats when we ran outside. xD people were in the street scared and laughing. we never experience any natural disasters.

Some of my family lives there and I live in Fresno. I got a text message saying the power went off and all kinds of glass fell. I was in one of the aftershocks in June and that was my first expierience with one. Im happy you are all ok. Looks scaryy! haha

My brother as a matter a fact shot some action with his black berry. Thats me with my youngest son between my legs at 00:22. Look at my mom and sister at 00:19 as the ground moved. 00:28, you can hear the transformer exploding in the southeast end of town. We were in Holtville during the quake..

Sorry for the comment everyone. I just found it very unpleasant to see people laughing while thousands of people lost their homes down in the Valley of Mexicali. I have family that live in Durango which is just south east of Guadalupe Victoria and they lost everything. Their house sank about 3 feet into a sand boil (liquifaction). Agian sorry.

I felt this quake as well. I live in the city of Murrieta, California some 200 miles to the Northwest and still I felt it pretty good.  Although not as intense here but the shaking did last about 15 to 20 seconds.

As for Mexico, we have NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement). It was interesting that someone said they could hear it coming, I was outside at the time (1987) and I could here it coming too.
