There's a difference in pop between boards in comparison between different companies. the type of wood they use helps, more compression makes for a stiffer board and greater pop. Less compression makes for a board that chips easier and has Less pop.. It's based on how they press the boards and the wood

It's not a mini. Most girl boards are shorter in length. Look at Girl boards on Skatewarehouse. 7.75 Girl's are usually 31.12" in length.

@RadioJack Thats true most 7.75 boards are 31.5 length or 31.6 but they look bigger in width for me because they have a straight cut which makes the nose and tail bigger. i like that i always ride girl 7.75 for about 5 years now

I learned the hard way by buying a board online without even knowing what size I needed. I bought a 7.50 and then realized (by trying out some other boards at the skatepark) that I needed an 8. Go to a skatepark and ask around. People are usually friendly there and willing to let you pop an ollie or 2 on their boards.

@itlookslikepizza definitely girl. i've skated both and girl has AMAZING pop and feel to the board. on enjoi, the concave is waaaay to deep and the board feels stiff. enjoi board feel like you're skating a plastic board while girl feels like a good, quality skateboard

@GingaMingaThe13th its all about personal preference man. My best advice is to go to a skate shop and stand on a board thats different sizes and see which one is best for u. I would probly say a 7.75-7.8 though depending on what kind of skating u do

@dragonstone111 well girl boards are great, they have great pop, easy to flip, they are awesome. the only thing is they start to snap way quick, mine started cracking after 6 days, and i have read a lot of comments saying how their Girl's snapped within a few weeks.

Well good video and about the board feeling smaller. The reason i think they feel smaller is because people say that they are sort of delicate. Like cause i just bought one that is 33" in long and 8" wide. So i orderd it a little bigger that i was used to so i try to let you know what i think. And just me i think they are preatty light to . Thats a good thing to me
