Much better than WoW!!!! To bad SW: TOR is going to be the best MMORPG. I don't care much for WoW but DDO is awesome, puzzles to solve and beast to slay it reminds more of a RPG than WoW does.
@zenmonk9003 :) yep, ddo rock a lot more then Wow for tactical/puzzle/hardcore raids/ communication needed for high end stuff, its a lot more complex then Wow player think, crafting of over 2000 weapons/armor/items, voice in, huge free to play content, mods... its a game that got a lot of bad comments about it, but its becoming one of the refuges while D3 SW and Secret world are coming out, Ddo keep me happy and entertained 5 years and still going strong. ;)
@joveug IF they are on the same server, got with Mail, or Shared bank, but i think shared bank need some DDo points to have it open when you are Free to play.

@bewareofmidgets Its free to try :P why not! If you like it, then you can invest in it to be stronger and go everywhere in the game, but the free content is enough to decide if its worth it.
@aelita12345678910 lvl 20, but the limited, but good, amount of free quests arent the best to get to the lvl 20, and if you want to True reincarnate, that means starting back to lvl 1 after reaching lvl 20 once, you need ddo points. But while you play you win points with the quests and favor.. Its a tough run for a free player... Everything that is unlocked by paying, stays unlocked always.
@Theuf28 yeah ive bought over 90000 ddo pts for sure im f2p but i get free ddo pts by makeing my friends play lol they delete their accounts n make new ones so u get a reasoniable ammount
@Theuf28 My laptop have dual core processores, 4 gb ram and 1 gb video card, BUT it's integrated...however I can run the game at max setting ( no blur and not DX 10 on ) 30 to 40 fps =D
LOL there is no way you would need a $700 computer to run this at the max settings. Sorry but I just have to say this. With a duo core/ and some mainstream video card (GTS 250) you'll run this in DX10 at the highest settings. It would cost you 500-$600 at the most. At most resolutions I'm guessing that it would be overkill XD.
Dx10 comes with any mainstream video card coming out these days, gts250 is a good card, dual core cpu either AMD or Intel will the the job to fully run it.. but with like 20 fps.. thank you come again.

and i get 15 to 30. fps.
check your oen with ctrl + X in game.
