Thousands more die yearly from seasonal flu. The sick, Elderly and the young are the most vulnerable with any type of virus, yet tamiflu is hurting or killing people in this catagory after takng it , so it doesn't make sense that the government announced Tamiflu will be given to that catagory type, even pregnant women???? iv got swine flu now, and iv recently taken tamiflu and im glad to say that it was the best decision i have made it reduced all my symptons, plus i diddnt get any side effects from it ( as long as you eat straight before you have taken the pills) there really isnt anything to worry about taking them, iv found that they have really helped me recover in the last day. so dont hesitate take the tamiflu you wont regret it.

I have just finished taking a course of 5 days of tamiflu (iseltamivir). I had a serious flu but not swineflu. I felt nauseaus and still don't feel 100% with headaches coursing me to just want to be in bed (however I can't state with any actuality that this was the tamiflu capsules or the flu) As for psychological effects nothing other than feeling annoyed that I have been in bed for a week and a half. If it helps people then I don't think you should state that people shouldn't take it. Polly

Thousands more die yearly from seasonal flu. The sick, Elderly and the young are the most vulnerable with any type of virus, yet tamiflu is hurting or killing people in this catagory after takng it , so it doesn't make sense that the government announced Tamiflu will be given to that catagory type, even pregnant women???? iv got swine flu now, and iv recently taken tamiflu and im glad to say that it was the best decision i have made it reduced all my symptons, plus i diddnt get any side effects from it ( as long as you eat straight before you have taken the pills) there really isnt anything to worry about taking them, iv found that they have really helped me recover in the last day. so dont hesitate take the tamiflu you wont regret it.

If you have just finished the course drink regular amounts of fresh water to flush it out your kidneys. Be sensible there as drinking too much water can be bad for you.
Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Find a good vitamin C tablet but not one with aspartame in.

I went through the same thing, my doctor told me it was probably swine flu and STRONGLY suggested I take something. I didn't and I'm glad because after recovering naturally you gain antibodies that are much stronger and longer lasting than the ones given in a vaccine. Glad you had a good natural recovery too! They probably did have H1N1, they have both made a full recovery, without the use of antiviral tamiflu drugs which have side effects especially for kids. I supported their immune systems with nutritional support / vits D3 + C plus homeopathic remedies, humidifier and lots of TLC, so that they were able to fight the virus themselves. Both my children have underlying immunological issues/food allergies. The fear of H1N1 is exageratted. I didnt get sick as I take vits D3 & C + oxidizer drops.

Just a comment on this video. The points it makes: 1) There are side effects (neuropsychiatric ones) 2)Pharmaceutical companies make tons of cash out of it
Just a little answer: 1) A huge range of drugs have side effects, like the ones from Tamiflu or even worse. It comes with the territory and mortality's not that high -- if you take it in the wrong amounts, that's another story
2) It's quite normal for them to make cash out of it; does that make Tamiflu ineffective? No.

I have just finished taking a course of 5 days of tamiflu (iseltamivir). I had a serious flu but not swineflu. I felt nauseaus and still don't feel 100% with headaches coursing me to just want to be in bed (however I can't state with any actuality that this was the tamiflu capsules or the flu) As for psychological effects nothing other than feeling annoyed that I have been in bed for a week and a half. If it helps people then I don't think you should state that people shouldn't take it. Polly

i had swine flu day 1 headache and fever and dry mouth followed by inflammed throat,(kinda felt like quincy cant breath good.day 2 still hot and arms felt heavy appertite very poor day 3 running to the bathroom and still the above. day 4 the same/ day 5. turned the corner day 6 picking up day.7 it was gone.i called my Doctor on day 5 she told me i had turned the corner no need to take any tamiflu and she advised me of the side effects.

See, I'm not too fussed about my person, but I'm worried that someone I love gets Swine Flu and then takes the vaccine. How are we supposed to tell people we know NOT to take it, especially when if they don't [and have underlying health issues], they'll die?

I get the impression the UK is waiting until 100's of 1000's are infected before dishing out vaccinations, which is why I think most people will be infected before receiving the vaccine or that the goverment will only vaccinate ill people.
