I know that Steve Terada is at least a 3rd Dan in Karate, I am unsure of Anthony Atkins. Tricking it taking forms of the native martial art and making them really flashy with a few ground gymnastics thrown in. Terada himself has never taken a single gymnastics course but did train on-on-one with one of the biggest names in the tricking world.

"Tricking" and fighting are two very different things. In response to your comment, most of this stuff isn't useful in an actual fight...but that's not the point of it. It's the flashy showy stuff you do to show what control of your body, fluidity and economy of motion you have. For fighting, usually the most basic stuff works best, but it ain't as cool to watch. Very nice moves, guys. Wish I were acrobatic.
