Yep. There are no different cinematics for the EU, even though there should be. You still see Bradleys and Super Cobras readying to retake Alaska, and still see Abrams and Bradley armored vehicles at the end. Laziness on the part of the gamemakers. The goal of the EU was honorable, as much so as any other faction's. They were there to rebuild the United States by any means necessary.
@Jurassic0Al true and true, i can't say much, but can you at least see it from an americans perspective? or perhaps, lets say the British Isles were invaded, would you like to see an american flag being raised on the ground in a base in front of parlament?
@godsend171- I believe I can do that. The game itself notes that the EU is not well-liked by many Americans when it invades, but as I said its mission was an honorable one. It deserved a unique ending, but so did the other factions. Seeing an American flag being raised over Parliament is not one of my greatest ambitions, I'll give you that. But if Britain had a civil war like the one in this game, maybe the US and others could help.
@Viconius Perhaps. I personally abhor the use of nuclear weapons and would like to see them removed from any arsenal anywhere. I can scarcely believe that anything is truly worth the use of nuclear weapons on population centers and civilian populations. That's just me though...
@danschaoticmind I certainly can understand the revulsion to nuclear weapons. You chose "scarcely" instead of perhaps "never" which is really human nature reason why they will never be fully removed from any arsenal. I think for people that can say "never" to nukes are willing to accept whatever happens to themselves regardless of what they could do in response. However, amongst humans, such people rarely rule or steer policy for anything larger than a tribe or subculture of some dominant one
they should have given every faction it's own unique ending. not all the same cause it's cool to be able to play as all of them and see what happens

are there eu variants on these endings?

no i dont think so
gunslinger92x45 2 years ago
you mean there are abrams and bradleys parading even though the eu won?
firestorm1332 2 years ago
yeah because i the eu's goal is to instal a puppet government in the U.S. so they would just capture those from the defeated u.s. factions

This actually makes me feel a bit ill. Not because the game is bad. But the Narrators words, how they are spoken. It is, to say the least, chilling.

@danschaoticmind She's got a great voice for sounding authoritative, without sounding dispassionate.
