  • Ronee all the way.

  • I prefer Tomlin slightly over Blakley, but both give triumphant performances. You should have used the clip of Tomlin listening to her son tell her his day, but pretty much all of Tomlin's performance is poignant and effecting.

  • There were actually quite a few ladies who were passed over that year - Barbara Harris, Karen Black and Gwen Wells (also for "Nashville"), Faye Dunaway in "The Four Musketeers," Marisa Berenson in "Barry Lyndon," Tina Turner in "Tommy," Doris Roberts in "Hester Street," Penelope Allen in "Dog Day Afternoon." But Brenda Vacarro???? I think she was nominated just because she was dating Michael Douglas at the time and he had the Hollywood hook-up with "Cuckoo's Nest."

  • Actually, I personally believe Lily was robbed this year. Though, Ronee was absolutely magnificent.

  • Agree.

  • @aidenk Ronee was more deserving

  • I agree, Blakley should have won, but that was a weak race...

  • Wow. I love this. 'Nashville' is my favorite film and I think what you're saying is that Ronee Blakeley should have won. I agree.

  • gran compilacion . Por favor no la quiten.
