  • Steve Clark's solo in this has just about enough power to literally knock me to the floor. Damn, he was good.

  • 4:40

  • This is so fucking sick. The intro sounds like Metallica.

  • @1kydde2 nope me friend. Metallica sounds like this.

  • 4:30 ... most epic solo that I ever heard... powerfull ... I wish that I was there...

  • I wish I was alive to go to this concert. Looks fun as hell. My dad said he went to it and he and his friends actually waited the whole night in front of the entrance just to get the front row.

  • The best "power ballad" of all time...plain and simple.

  • fukn Awesome!!

  • best band of the 80s wish u were still with us steve RIP

  • <3

  • The world is not the same without Steve ! Amazing concert . Next whiskey is for him .

  • Did VH1 get it right? Was Steve Clark's father such a vicious critic of his playing? If he thought that would make this man better, he was tragically out of line. Steve didn't need to get better; he was a killer guitarist just as he was. I could hardly imagine any musician during the 80's who wouldn't want Steve Clark in his band.

  • Steve Clark was such a great guitarist. His playing carried Def Leppard in the early dayz. The band is not same without him.

  • 04:39

  • Saw these guys in concert in CHicago back in 87. My ears were ringing and it was AWESOME!!!!

  • I just love this song ♥♥♥

  • rip steve-this was an amazing concert...

  • 4:37 great now i have to go change my pants! -_-

  • Fuck I was born too late.

  • Glam Hair Metal 4 EVER .!!!!

  • @HazelSparks Lepp's NOT hair/glam shit :@

  • @marclee15 Yeah it is , well In the metal chards is classi... as a Pop metal band , They ar from the glam hair metal sub genre , get your music facts correct .

  • @HazelSparks get my music facts correct ? hsuahsuahusa how old are you? I know what LEPP is, I'm a collector , about 20 years .... :)

  • @marclee15 Ok so then what do you say they are?

This is gonna help you a little look at the first minute... look careful on the charts in the pop metal .Metal: A Headbangers Journey Part 6

  • @HazelSparks Leppard is not glam... glam is lame unoriginal music like Crue and poison

  • @cliffthelightning Whatever. the universe knows that the genre that make metal famous was Hair glam metal in 86 . and is better to call them a glam hair metal band that a POP metal band .. ! But i was wondering? how do you classi.... them a Trash metal ? New brittish wave? Or what?

  • Wow!!!Bad Ass,That Woulda Been Amazin ta Seen

  • That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard........R.I.P. Steve

  • @pammorrison71 why would you even assume that? why bring him up in a video from a band thats not even the same genre or era? they have nothing in comparison. wtf were you thinking? justin beiber? what do you have against him? and how does he relate to def leppard?

  • i don't know what to say, happy birthday or rip((((

  • Birth name Stephen Maynard Clark Born 23 April 1960(1960-04-23) Hillsborough, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Died 8 January 1991(1991-01-08) (aged 30) London, England Genres Heavy metal, hard rock Occupations Musician, songwriter Instruments Guitar, Vocals Years active 1978–91 Labels Island, Mercury Associated acts Def Leppard
  • rip steve

  • STEVE LOOKS HOT WITH THAT GUITAR

  • The original "Boy Band". Our band's booking agent brought us On Through The Night in 1980. He said Def Leppard had a 15 yr old drummer and the rest of the guys were 16-18. We were 15-18 yrs old at the time and inspired by these guys. Now 31 yrs later...My 8 yr old daghter has me watching the modern 15-18 yr old pop stars; Miley, Selena, Demi, Justin Bieber, All Star Weekend, etc...etc. Def Leppard were real. Disney pop stars are fabricated. Selena & Demi were on Barney when they were 8.

  • 2:15 to 3:50 pure epicness

  • hey my friend, where did you get these videos from....they are awsome... i wanna get for my collection..thanks for posting these live versions. They are Bad Ass !!!

  • This fascinating video, I'm from Colombia, Medellin and I love them, drive me crazy

  • This is the best live band known to man. These guys were hand picked by Jesus himself, who then rehearsed them in Chuck Norris's Basement. Unfortunately, music isn't made the same any more. DEF LEPPARD WILL NEVER>>>>>>> EVER DIE!!!!!!!!

  • @Metalhead0166 its is still

its just hard to find because its under this shit music we have now a days

  • @c4662

I agree. I just wished some artists today had more influence of the past. Even Ratt stepped up and made an album as far as they were from the studios. It sounded just like their stuff back in 84 - 86. I think Bullet For my Valentine does a good job for their style. But no band has ever touched Def Leppard's style. All 80's bands are unique.

  • Steve Clark looks just as Badass with that Gibby Dbl.neck as Jimmy Page.

  • would have been the icing on the cake to have joe and the boys keep playing into switch 625!!!

  • Gotta be my favorite rock voice ever...Joe had some pipes. Not too bad these days either.

  • Wow. Love this version. R.I.P Steve Clark!

  • im sorry but DEFLEPPARD FUCKING RULE!

  • Best 80's band ever!

  • Stephen Maynard Clark is a genius, a legend, a god. Rock has not been the same since he passed.

  • that double looks an awful lot like jimmie pages

  • @knighterrant1969 Steve Clark was HUGE fan of Jimmy Page. So yeah it is :)

  • from 4:39 to the end is just freakin epic!!

  • @krisaf778 there is no better minute and a half of a live rock performance better than starting at 4;39...evey band member is giving it absolutely everything and they ROCK!!!!

Steve Clark, we miss you brother - RIP!

  • That still sends chills...

Wasn't Seattle the last place that Steve played live, this tour? I think the tour ended there. Last time he played live in concert.

Shame that I did not get to go. We had just moved and my folks wouldn't let me go. I was 17.

    Long time ago, good memories.

  • That still sends chills...

  • This is fucking brilliant.... gives me the biggest chill on earth

  • PRISCILLA - HIGH TONIGHT is just like high n' dry era def Leppard!

  • the best band ever...I was born in 1988 but I wish I lived rock life.....before it was different than now!!!

  • i saw this concert and there is no words just no words

  • fuckin' awsome! 7 people don't know what rock'n'roll is!

  • are these live videos in any kind of a DVD?

  • @dmcbyvictor Yup, they are on the Historia DVD under the "In the Round in Your Face" menu option.

  • This is 1988, no 87

  • such and awsome live version of this great song!

  • Comment removed

  • Theres nothing like gettin pulled out of class in high school to go see your first concert ever, in the front with Def Leppard. I wish it was this one. One of the greatest live shows!!!

  • only an asshole wears their own band T-shirt..... Def leppard rocks though.... Billy squire kicked their ass live though in 86' when I saw them together.... Beer is great also..... Excelcior...

  • kids at my school insult me for liking such an awesome band. well f**k them!!!

  • Steve and phil's playing is meltan my speakers!!!

  • What is the name for the stand guitar tha is using philli in the beginnig?????????????

  • De mis canciones favoritas de def leppard, este video esta excelente

  • holy shit...... thats amazing.. joes voice just totally threw it together. and then steve and his guitar. Fucking genius...

  • Didn't they include pieces of their performances from this concert in their music videos? Joe Elliot's clothing was the same as it was in a few that I remember.

  • @GrnArrow092 Yup. Footage from the "In the Round in Your Face" VHS (now on the Historia DVD as well) was used for the music videos, as well as other bonus footage from the tour.

  • I love how they were pulling a 'Hotel California'-like solo in the beginning which automatically gave me chills :D

  • clark has got all the style and spirit of def, its sad that he's dead

  • 3:04... epic.

  • Amazing performance by an amazing band. True rock legends. Joe,Phil,Sav,Rick,Steve and Vivian, hats off to you gentlemen! Now, if it were the 1980's again, that would be awesome! Today's music is rubbish!!!

  • no pitch harmonizer here!

  • the vocals starting at 5:12 incredable if that isn't passion i dont know what is....RIP Steve

  • oggy oggy oggy

  • 4:36 = one of the most chilling moments in rock history.

  • This is from Denver, CO, 1988 not 87 by the way. :p

  • @101Sunnybee Not all of them are actually, just the popular ones. Some of her best songs like "Change" are about her band and her record label which originally just consisted of her and Scott Borchetta's dream.

  • eXCELLENT?COMME D4HAB....

  • ...no comments, just listen folks. This is serious performance at it's best.

  • this is fucking bombastic. unbelievable.

  • I guess 6 people didn't make that concert. Def Leppard is the best!

  • we miss u steamin steve r.i.p

  • @MylesM316 The lead of this group is also dead, unfortunately.

  • @StevenVerd lead singer of def leppard dead?! the great joe elloitt. no chance..the've toured for 11/2 years to 2010 then took a year out as joes wife had a baby in dec 2009.

  • @StevenVerd My bust. My mind sometimes works faster than my fingers. I meant the lead guitarist has died. I think his name was Stephen Clark, or something?

  • @StevenVerd

Please don't post if you've no idea what you're talking about.....

  • @aorrock Easy cheesy. I clarified what I meant. It must be so awesome having total knowledge of every subject known to Man. Do you have a self-help manual to this end, perhaps? I could use a copy.

  • i am crying with this concert.... my favorite song.. a love def leppars

  • how can I buy this concert? is there a dvd or cd? what's the name of the album?

  • i was front row at the Summit

  • DEF LEPP: "Bringin' Heartbreak In Your Face"

  • I was born in 1996 && I have always listened to Def Leppard. NOTHING compares to their music.

  • Great video/sound quality..

  • Fantastic video in every way, awesome audio and visual quality. In my top five rock ballads of all time.

  • They are amazing live! ❤

  • @GPXgirl ♥¿♥

  • i saw def leppard a few years ago and they put on a great show...maybe i should see them again...i don't really listen to their records much, tho...maybe cause they or music that sounds a lot like them gets overplayed on radio...

  • I saw them in the round in LA; I will never forget that show.

  • Who's the sexy guitar player half undressed? RIP Steve Clark

  • @mariofan4523 that would be Phil Collen. He still has the wash board abs and he is 53

  • @teri81979 Thanks for the info. Probably married too, huh? (:

  • @mariofan4523 yes he is. In fact this is his second marriage.

  • @teri81979 Thanks for bringin' on a heartbreak!

  • emedding disabled. FFFF UUUU!!!!

  • 6 people didn't like this... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!

  • @ljab do you feel sorry for them as much as I do?

  • Listen to how burned up Joe Elliotts voice is! And then wham lights up and he belts out the end of the song!!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!

  • i regret not being born in the time of "good music"

    THIS GIRL LOVES DEF LEPPARD!!!!!!!!!!

  • future of classic rock look up: renegade sweet child o mine cover
