  • I work at Walmart as a lot attendent in the U.S. how the hell can I immigrate to Canada?

  • @GUNS4MIKE1234 Either via skilled worker class, family class sponsorship, investor class, or refugee. There are a few other classes but no point in making an exhaustive list here. Most people don't qualify for them anyway. These are the most common. For skilled worker you must have a certain amount of education and work experience. You usually also have to prove that you can do a job in Canada that no other Canadian can do as well as you can. cont...

  • @Aprilshowersss Um im sure walmart cartpusher is not a skilled job and ok that sucks guess im not moveing to canada

  • @GUNS4MIKE1234 as a walmart employee, I doubt this applies to you. Investor class is basically a short cut for rich people to buy their way in. Unless you have millions, this wont work for you either. As an American Citizen you would be very hard pressed to find a way to qualify for refugee class. Really the only way for us poor folk to do it is to marry or enter a common law relationship with a Canadian citizen. The paper work is maddening and the fees are high. Its hard but can be done.

  • Thanks alot for your fast answer. Yes I joined that awesome Forum last night, that's how I stumbled onto your link to this video on here! I already posted a question on there but no one has answered it yet. I will probably be bothering you with alot of questions on that forum lol.

  • @JrockOtakuOnna I have answered your question there. Also don't fear asking too many questions. Ask and ask! This your future and everyone there understands!

  • Thanks alot for this. I am in the process of gathering supporting documents and relationship evidence, residential/employment history, ect. It is nice to see what a complete Application looks like. I have a question though, it said letter from Employer on the "Required Supporting Documents" section of this video. What kind of letter do I need from my employer? I am confused, I will be applying inland after we marry in a few months. Why would I need a letter from my previous employer?

  • @JrockOtakuOnna The letter from employer is required for the sponsor, aka your spouse. Now, when being sponsored by your spouse remember that there is NO INCOME REQUIREMENT and NO REQUIREMENT TO BE EMPLOYED AT ALL. The sponsor cannot, however be on social assistance, (Disability being an exception). The letter from employer is only required if the spouse in employed. If they are not, don't worry about it. All the details for what needs to be on the letter are detailed in the checklist.

  • @JrockOtakuOnna I would like to add that if you need any future help with any aspect of paper work or any other questions regarding immigrating to Canada, the Community forums at Roadtocanada (dot) com are a LIFE SAVER! I have never known such a caring and knowledgeable group of people anywhere else online. I would have never ever figured out everything I needed to know without them. Its a truly valuable resource so if you are not already, USE IT! Good luck with everything.
