I have a set, and NO, they do not hit the rear suspension. Work great for my wife and I, when we go camping. Who would want to crash with your girl friend or wife on back?
Great idea as not fixed to swing arm. One problem that I see is if you have a fall the front pegs will fold causing the passenger pegs to cause damage to the suspension ,rear wheel etc....just my thought....hope it doesn't do what what i think it does.

@matbrown2 Nothey fold under the number-plate and do no damage to the rear wheel or the suspension.
