LoL - Olaf Jungle Guide - Extremely Detailed

Nowadays I go wolves, blue buff, wraiths, double golems, red buff, wraiths then either wolves or gank. This works for most jungle champions including Nocturne, Lee Sin, and Xin Zhao to name a few. I always start with a cloth armor and 5 health pots, but with Nocturne you can start with a vamp scepter too. Just my suggestions on routes.

I choose berseker greaves instead of mercury treads for faster jungling and you dont really need merc when you have ulti on so yea.. and i dont get banshees either and choose starks instead because the liefsteal can make you win most of the battles with high health

Very good guide . But i would recommend (when u got golem buff ) throw ur axe right before you , which will dmg everything around and will instantly pick it so u can spam it to kill everything easier

dude.. for any path .. when u get blue buff, u use your q on olaf's feet.. this way he deals dmg around him and picks it up right away.. result : aoe dmg every 1.5 sec.

To be honest you missed a lot of things.

You don't time your Smite with your free spell vamp, and you're not using the Drop spam Q tactic.

@Tobben121 i used to do that with Xin but i havent jungled him in a while. I don't know if the jungle has been buffed, but i've tried that with Olaf one game and he lost lots of health just trying to kill the big wolf and left me at a very bad position. I don't wait at wolves tho, because in one game the enemy team waited by my blu bush and nearly killed me and forced me to lane, but i did very well :P. I try to get blu 1st, because the players who r leashing want to get back at their lanes asap

Also, you did not mention spell vamp synergy with his Q and W, nor with smite.

Olaf is THE fastest jungler in the league, but with your guide, he's mediocre at it all.

If you think i'm just flaming or trolling you, I'm not. I'm a high elo player and i want to see everyone improve, but i don't like to coddle. If you like, add me ingame (Atreties) if you would like some tips on any jungler. Its kinda my thing.

Terrible guide. The actual jungling was bad- You did not get Q first (that makes it faster), you did not use Q correctly (short range to refresh cooldown and spam).

Runes were off- Armor is MUCH better in the jungle-- just do the math.

Masteries were crap - 1/8/21 is much better for him, as you need cooldown on olaf to get the 0s cooldown for Q. (though U need 21 in D b/c u jungle wrong)

Skill order was bad - max Q for faster jungle clear, better ganks, better farming, and better teamfights.

@MrAtreties in the vid, there was no leash and i think without the leash, if you got Q first instead of W, you'd die? well, unless you had health quints. Sometimes, with Olaf, i clear the jungle a little too fast still and have to wait like 10 secs for the camp to respawn ( i don't get red until i'm ready to gank, meaning i don't get it the first jungle run tho). I actually do love maxing Q first tho. And i like doing 21/0/9 because i need to do as much damage possible in the few secs of gank?

To improve... The ending after the guide is quite long, you should shorten it to around 10 - 15 seconds instead of 30

I found a unique build for Olaf, which no one else seems to use, but allows him to take on whole teams without fail.

I don't see why anyone stacks health, warmogs, no. frozen mallet, no. Stack attack damage and life steal only. In my opinion survivability as Olaf comes from his damage output at low health. Wriggles, Bezerker greaves, youmou's, starks, blood thirster. Enjoy Pentakills.

This is kinda meh....for jungle you should be using undertow as your main jungle ability as the cooldown when picked up plus blue buff is almost 0 and you can spam it, making it the best dps allowing olaf to be one of the fastest jungles. Also if you gank and miss with a short range undertow, simply pick it up and you should still be able to get a slow off unless he is near tower already

This is a pretty horrible guide honestly, q should be first. Olaf is all about q spam, throw your q's short and use it every cooldown. It helps to go 0/9/21, that way you can pick your axe up instantly. When you gank and people are running from you, you should be throwing your axe right at them, not past them, and you should be spamming it. Also, level the q first, not the e, I see alot of olaf players make this mistake.

i agree that olaf is an amazing jungler but not because of his W but because of his Q!

if he uses his Q at minimum distance he picks his axe up again immediately resulting in a 6 sec cooldown reduction

with golem buff you have an aoe damaging skill with a cooldown of 0-1 sec, one of the best abilities in the game

u dont use hp pots like u should and u dont smite when u should. u just take alot more dmg when not smiteing at the right time. and put on a hp pot the second u take dmg. if the enemy team is anything smart they get free kills on u if not using the hp pots ! otherwise awesome vid !
