@MrRivalry Well, I never saw the original version as "characters" xD I mean... they were not meant to have background stories o,o You were supposed to call them the way you wanted and create your own story but in the NDS version they kinda ruined that :V I would have liked it if they just had remade it with SNES graphics for the GBA like they did with FFI and FFII xD

@MrRivalry Yes, I know in the NDS version you get the first jobs after beating Jinn but in the NES one you get the jobs after the turtle... I mean... the Onion Knights on the NES were completly useless. All they could do was basic attacks and parry. In the NES version all 4 characters are generic and got no background story and only change their look based on their jobs so everyone looks the same at first when they are Onion Knights (they call them "Onio Kid" on the translated rom I played).

I'm confused now... wasn't freelancer a replacement of Onion Kight? I mean... in the NES version you start as Onion Knight than get the first group of jobs after beating that turtle in the cave at the begining (and you already have all 4 members and none is a girl). So I thought there would be no onion knight here... special since that job is so useless in the NES one.

Bards after the water crystal until the ancient caverns are REALLY good. you would be surprised. Remember they can swap harps in a battle. means with the available harps you can buff defense and magical resistance and heal. ofc white mage can do all that later, but not this early! Most useless job is ranger.

@Vinearo you employed the term "useless" so i wont go for scholar and for bard (haste all party member with a harp) so after finishing the game for the 59th time (It is true and DONT JUDGE ME) viking is kinda g@y, so is red mage and freelancer.

I dont like the evoker either cuz it keeps getting bad invocs. The onion knight is dumb too besides its level 96+.

Final Judgement : Freelancer because they can wield EPIC wepons, thus giving no challenge on a 4-freelancers party

try 1-redmage its EPIC

@Vinearo No... really the most useless is freelancer because their stats are kinda bad...

for a challenge try beating the game with one onion knight level 90 and -

Im working on it at the moment: level 56 just finished the canaan mountain.

37 hours of epic exp  grinding.

I'll tell you when im done... if i ever am
