Looks like my buddy's LJ20. They're neat little vehicles, with a 2 cylinder, 2 stroke engine. I tried to attach a video response with some footage that I have from inside it. I also have some footage from where we took it to a meet back in June. Check out my videos and you can find them. I upgraded the brakes on it this year to where it has Samurai brakes (they work pretty good on a 1400 lb vehicle).
@dptyrob Hey, Dptyrob...I ok'd the response, so I hope your video shows up! Thanks for submitting, and giving us a ride in this cool vehicle! I'll check out the other videos! Thanks! :) Jack
It looks cute but it can go many places (very popular offroaders in Australia when they came out) - this shape was made up until 1980-81 when a redesign took place.
@joh2 Hey, Shannon...I thought you would have a take on this vehicle! It looks very cool, and although this one looks like it just came from the showroom, I don't doubt it could do well on offroad. Thanks for the information! :) Jack
Ive had 2 Samurai's Jack and it doesnt look like either of them. Could this be an older version than was imported to the US before the 80's? Hang on... OK, I just did some google work and I think its a 1970 Suzuki Jimny LJ10, they were grey market imports and mostly sold on the West coast.
@1DRock37167 Hey, Daryl! I checked, and it could well be the older Jimmy...the vertical bars seem to be the giveaway...thanks for the correction! :) Jack
M.Schettle has one in one of his displays in Oshkosh! It's tipped up on two wheels with a fiberglass rhino ramming it from the side. It also has the full hard top in place.
@jpatt1000 Hey, Mr. Big! Yeah, there was a big fuss when it was discovered that some utility type vehicles had to be driven with the knowledge that they're susceptible to rollover...That must be a cool display! Thanks! :) Jack
@XboobtubeX Hey, Bob! I shall make a video that takes care of that! I have so many faithful subscribers, I think it's time for some recognition! Thanks! :) Jack
Is that an original engine SAMURAI 1.3 L ?
If you guys are going to sell, How much? (US Dollars)
I never see this model of Suzuki in the USA! (YOR MODEL is Jimmy?)
Hey, Thanks for INFOS!

Always neat to see good example of a vehicle that's that wouldn't normally be considered "a collector". Very cool.....

Beautiful shape; absolutely perfect. Looks like a CJ2A that got wet and shrunk.
