Maybe everyone imagines their own version of Elizabeth/Darcy... (actually everyone imagines their own version of every book they read)

And i know their are many many people who love the 1995 version.. But just the way when both of them are speaking here... The flow of emotions not just in them but in me... It keeps u on the edge of the seat and just as the scene is ending u find urself going like "Come back Darcy! Where the HELL are u going??"

And just the way he says "I love u. Most ardently"

I know everyone thinks that Colin Firth is the one and only Mr. Darcy, and yes he was brilliant at it, but when Mathew Macfayden speaks, and with those blue eyes, and pours his heart out...I just can't help but fall madly in love with him.

Best freaking scene of the whole movie...so much emotions! This is where I was flipping out when I finally realized Matthew's Mr. Darcy have blue eyes (when he approached Elizabeth)...OMG!!!

And I was like...KISS ALREADY...they were so close but Mr. Darcy held back.

Keira Knightley, her expressionless face, and her bony frame are such an egregious choice for Elizabeth.

I think both 1995 and 2005 versions have weak and strong sides to them; in this version you can feel the emotions better but the 1995 version is definitely better paced

This version is so much better than the one with Collin Firth. You can actually feel the emotion and see Elizabeth's anger than that in the older version. I can watch this scene over and over again. <3

You can see the hurt on her face after he said the lines about her sisters, mother, and father. And it was obvious on her face that she wanted to say something that anger him, by mentioning Wickham. Anddd he definitely snapped, his composure changing completely when hearing that name. He's pissed to hear that name come out of her mouth. & yeahh. I love the 'almost kiss' moment.

very clear why director Joe Wright refers to this as the "Car Wreck" scene you have to do a double take when watching it's fast paced and just gets worse after impacting

My favorite part of this scene is the conspicuous regret on Elizabeth's face as soon as Darcy utters the following line, "Forgive me....Madam for taking up some much of your time."

On her face one can clearly see the realization of forever ruining any possibility of a relationship between the two along with deep REGRET. Bravo Keira Knightley!
