  • I love it! Thanks for the great tips beautiful sista!

  • @guitaHer099

    they aren't cavemen!

  • @pay1370 clearly you dont know afrocentrism

  • I feel so sad for I am white. It may sound foolish, but I feel like I've been African for all of my past lives. I thank you so much for the Afrocentricity you're sharing. Sharing is everything.

  • I love you for this ----> "crazy is fun. Who wants to be ordinary?" AMEN!

  • I like the second one better, but it is only because I like the way the colour sort of matches the wrap; I like all of your jewelry!

    Thanks for showing this!

  • Love the first necklace, it's dramatic and goes well with the shirt. Love the look, so innovative

  • Most black americans don't even know what country their ancestors were from. To clump all those countries into one, and call it "afroentric, inner african", is ridiculous. Nice look, though.

  • Why do people insist on clumping a whole continent together?

  • I like the necklace from Egypt. Love your style.

  • I love your style and l love your accent.

    You are beautiful.

  • Love the head wrap Love the shirt, and the jewelery thanx for this 3 part video ps Love the necklace with the big bone the most

  • Love the head wrap Love the shirt, and the Jewelery thanx for this 3 part video

  • Girl! The whole look is banging but that first necklace you put on...OMG, the DRAMA! I love it!

Gonna make it my BUSINESS to go to Egypt!!!

  • You are a wonderful inspiration!!!!

  • Thanks for this... lovin' the head wrap! PKizzm

  • I love both necklaces on you! Wish I had the arms to pull off that are charm.

  • I love the necklace from Kemet (Egypt). It matches perfectly. I hope I find something as beautiful the next time I am there. .

  • the louder one is just for that outfit

  • oh my god you look so beautiful sister!!!

  • omg!!!

can you do a tutorial on how to make that armlet out of the hanger PLEASE!!

i'll email you on your page!!

    omg it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

  • This makes about as much sense as a native american wearing a feathered head dress around in the mall. I hope ya'll don't be out in public looking like this lol I understand the meaning but uhm .... this is NOT Africa and what tribe are ya'll repping with this gear? I'm just curious. However, it does look nice on you. To each his/her own I guess

  • This style really fits you. You look good :)

  • I like the one with the bone! I, too, like all eyes on me!

  • Hey Sister I make Things from Copper... Let me know if your interested.

  • My family is Puerto Rican... but we are the African Puerto Ricans, I always wanted my mom to try on an afrocentric look but she's too afraid to... it's a shame that so many women of African decent find Afrocentricity foolish, I think it's GORGEOUS and it shows a lot of cultural pride!

  • @YNTMCompetition

it so beautiful and natural which indian woman doesn't look lovely dressed in a sari and bindi and with henna on her arms?

  • @Yanipooh No, I think every culture has their own beauty! Indian women are stunning, and the colors they use on traditional gowns! WOW! The bright oranges, the greens, yellows! I love it!

  • did you show us how you do your headwrap..........love it

  • I love the Egyptian necklace! It really made the outfit!

  • Alot of these "African Shops" are actually white owned. The white owner will hire an African person for upfront just for appearance. Hopefully that store was actually owned by the African though.

  • WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am shocked (although now that I think about it, it really shouldn't surprise me at all)when will the disception end????? and all for cash too! dont they have almost all of it anyway?

  • Anything to make a little money, let's not forget that they are and have always been masters of exploitation and deception.

  • Go Loud!!!!

  • "I LOVE IT!"

  • perfect

  • You go, girl!

  • WOW... I totally agree! I love your necklace from Egypt! It makes such an awesome statement!!! Love love LOVE it!

  • I love the necklace with the bone.

  • i love the bone one

  • i think you look great! however you kinda over analyzed the jewelry part...people are not going to stare at you the necklace is not outrages or anything lol.

  • Where (or what site) did you buy your jewelry, head-wrap or etc? I want to buy (or order) some for my girlfriend.

    Thank you in advance.

  • you look beautiful

  • everything else is cute, but those hoops look like they are from claire's or something. they dont look afrocentric at all.

  • i like the loud one its looks so wondergul cause the other things of ur outfit are kinda quite so its just matching perfect i*ll try the t-shirt look next time and post it as a video to show u how it looks like i like that idea so much as specially when ur sleeping some where else after a party then u dont have to wear ur party outfit to get home thx again for the video their great

  • haha you know WHAT????? I got a crazy necklace in Harlem, New York City!! It is a HUGE shell. Not as big as the bone, but pretty close. I bought it from an African lady, from a French speaking African country.

I loved it and everybody said it was pretty gross.

I have to wear it MORE OFTEN!! :)

  • the bone necklace is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I also love the hoops!!!

  • Diva-nista! You KNOW which necklace says it best. Your inner african won't lead you astray. You followed it and bought the necklace, right?! So wear it well, Queen!

  • I saw silver cuffs @ Forever21 today.. very cheap.

  • thank you so very much for posting this video....I was looking for ways that I can unleash my inner beauty and I have captured ideas from you... thank you again!!!! I will be looking for more from you

  • omg i would die for that necklace its beautiful!!!!!

  • I love your accent! I hear the New York, but I think I hear some Caribbean. Anyways. I am an African American woamon who looks Puerto Rican or Dominican...do you think i can pull this off?

  • Girlfriend, I once saw a Korean sister working an Erykah Badu inspired head wrap and jewelry.. She was WORKING that thing. OF course you can pull it off!~

  • the louder one difinately!

  • Talk the talk!

    Walk the walk!

    Thank-you Sis!

  • Great Job mamma! Where can i get a bone necklace like that?

  • i like the bone 1

  • ooh excellent, that jewelery is sickening (in a good way).. i love the coral, beautiful. i like the bone one better, make that statement! alright girl, i love it!

  • great vid!

  • bone necklace

  • Ya know, through the years the big emphasis has been on the light skinned chicks, and yes, i know some gorgeous light skinned ladies, my best friend is a lighter girl. but when i see things like this it really reinforces the love i have for my own darker skin. Afrocentric jewelry and fashions look so great with it! I love seeing a dark chick rocking big earthy hoops, a colorful headwrap, and a pretty white smile!

  • You should see how th Nigerian girls in England get down.. Brixton girls.. those chicks design from African fabrics and have the tailor whip it up.. They work the mess out of some African style and beauty!

  • i like the LOUDER, bone necklace!!!

  • Beautiful. I'm sure plenty of women on hee have found this useful.

  • Go for the drama Sis!

  • i've always wnated a bone necklace liek that.

  • you're just friggin beautiful! that's all.

  • a wire hanger turned arm band?? hmmm....i love it! smart idea !!

  • Hehe... i think i like the more quiet one... only because it would be "loud" on me =P

  • I like them all, very robusk ^^

  • The Egypt necklace works very well with your outfit. I like the "quieter" necklace but the one you chose fits your personality very well. You look absolutely lovely, and it didn't even cost a lot of money. :-) thanks for the inspiration.

  • very beautiful! i love the created armlet and the tied t-shirt.

  • nice

  • Right on baby, take it back to our roots...

  • thx

  • Oh! I love these videos so much! I have to try the head wrap sometime, but I love my hair XD

I love the necklace you got in Egypt! It was beautiful!

XD I love the attention too! With my big hair I've always got the attention and it makes me look taller too.

This video game me ideas thank you!!!

  • love the head wrap!love the jewelery!cant do the t-shirt dress!however it would be cool to use a head wrap as a shirt(halter type!)

    -TonyaTko

  • U cooooooooll,girl.

  • You are so creative I go buy what looks good not what it is .lol

  • I think the one that has a bone is more cute, I love dramtic statments.

  • Love this show

  • "noo, tonyatko, you're not going to be able to pull that off!" it cracked me up how you refer to yourself as tonyatko because it's just basically an actual part of your name now. =) love the jewelry, by the way.

  • You look beautiful Tonya.

  • I like the one with the bone great look on you.

  • so so sexxxy --I love --I love --I love it --Show them how to do it girl --Imean --Goddesss-S o natural __So beautiful --MY African Beauty--MY African __GOd_Olokun_OguN_Oduduwa_Elegba_Shango_OshuN

    Obatala--Yemaja_Amen_Ra

    dess----

  • I normally don't like big necklaces on me. I would do the big earrings before the necklace.

  • I have to agree... if one is going to make a statement, go big or go home...no point in doing it 1/2-assed! :P One question though.... would a white girl be seen as pretentious if she was to wear a crown? I've always been jealous of the women I see pulling that head dress off. I've always loved the earthy/soulful look.

    :)

  • This is a very loaded question;

If you are going to do it, you cannot HALF-WAY do it. YOu have to go all out and make it a part of your life and not let it be a trend or a phase... bcz THAT would be seen as insulting.

If you are sympathetic to the Black plight and love Africa and afrocentricity, that's one thing...

You have to keep in mind what Black people have been thru. Afrocentricity is in fact solidarity and ethno-unity.

    -TOnyaTko

  • So be very careful that the statement your making is one of love and appreciation, not trend, minimization and pilferation.

    -TonyaTko

  • I like all of those necklaces, but the one with the bones was The best. I loved that joint! It looks more REGAL.
