This KED was improperly applied. The head had approiximately 4" of padding in back of it and the head flaps did not provide any support as they were in back of the ears. This candidate would have failed their EMT examination. The instructor should have pointed it out to these students, however he didn't. That green padding is actually used on children to protect the chest fromthe straps/buckles, not to be placed in back of the head for padding.

u should probably put a towel or something to protect his chest from the straps
