@rose3913 According to UNICEF it isn't. Women in her country these marriages are generally imposed upon girls as child brides without consideration for their feelings. She is not considered an equal partner and subject to spousal abuse and abuse from her in-laws, acid attacks over disputed dowries are common. To deny will not hide the fact. I know people who have been to the country an seen it first hand. I pray that all women will have to exist like that.
@giftedwoman777 stereotypical. Don't generalize the whole country on a group pf people from there. I am from Bangladesh(born there) and I know for a fact my dad has never beaten my mom..ever! He doesn't believe in that. As far as I know, this abusing usually doesn't happen in the upper and middle class families.

Poor bride, women in her country suffer. Spousal abuse and acid attacks are rampart involving disputes over dowries. I pray she will be safe.
