This game is hard as fuck! It took me a while to get used to thinking of everything-it takes skill not to loose any guys while taking a PAK 36 or whatever and blowing the shit out of 5 panzers. I celebrated after beating this game. Truly worth it.

1 - Red Alert this game introduced us the very first strategy experience

2 - Sudden Strike this game take of a notch bringing the player to real time strategy and the ww2 realistic experience.

3 - Men of War - This game incorporated all of the strategy games over the years and make it into the best real time realistic experience

Company of heroes is a fun game, but Men of war is so much better overall..The realism, the micro managing, the slow motion, the direct fire mode

CoH has been dumbed down to suit the typical gamer who hasn't the patience for a proper tactical war RTS game...

I find it amusing that people keep trying to say CoH is better simply because they don't know MoW (or it's predecssors..)

Many probably don't even realise CoH Tales of valor actually took the "direct control" mode from Men/Faces of war

iv played this like a week now and its a great game :D i would say its more realistic than COH but alot harder :S

i see my self as a pretty much RTS veteran, iv been playing rts games as far as i can remember that is propably like 6 years back.

iv tryed evereything from COH to age of mythology to rise of nations to age of empires, iv played alot of rts/strategy.

and still i got problems with this game, so i would recommend a newbie to get company of heroes, its ALOOT easier.

well i would say i enjoyed COH multiplayer more, coz COH got like baracks where i could train troops with resources, but MOW got like reinforcment system where i choose what reinforcments i want, its pretty same tought.

but only choose what game u want by ifu are veteran/good player or beginner/poor player.

becouse if u never played RTS and start with MOW u gonna get ur ass kicked in the first mission.

Its a good game I like it only flaws are the control - its not easy to use. Coh remains the best game for me even if this game is very very realist its getting a respectable 8,5 / 10 for me.
