its free cuz its ps3. all online is free but u need a wireless router or u can buy a Ethernet cable like xbox uses

its umm a different campaign that runs parallel with the story. instead of playing with Hale you play as a random soldier thats flanking the chimerans and shit in a different place. nawm sayin? lol couse u dont

probably the marksman and fareye. marksman is like an M16 while fareye is a sniper rifle.

yeah i agree.. they need to give it more power. it take so long to kill a chimera to the point that it makes it boring to play. but its pretty fun nonetheless

haha also one thing i was just wondering, I heard there are 3 classes, does that mean theres only 3 types of weapons you start off with? or do each class gets a variety of weapons to choose off from at first?

each class has a variety of weapons but it depends on ur level. u have to level up to get new weapons. theres soldier which kills the chimera, spec-ops which makes the ammo for the party and medic ofcourse

yeah thanks again. and i'm into this style of gameplay, i've played the first resistance and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. i like sci-fi's and realistic shooters. and you're right, i think i'll still be picking up COD4 every now and then. but hey, that's like the best FPS to play right now anyways in my opinion. i'm really liking the fps scene going on now: resistance 1 and 2, halo 3, cod4, bioshock, KZ2 looks good, left 4 dead, rainbow six vegas 1 and 2, and others. you can't beat that.

oh of course, i didn't even think the first resistance came near to the glory of COD4. i still liked resistance a lot however. and that's really something that you would say that the online beats COD4 because that is one of the hardest games to top. thanks for the reply and the unbiased view, a lot of non-ps3 fans tend to bash it every way possible.

Ive never played the First Resistance online even the story mode well maybe a lil. didnt like it too much. maybe this game will be different. hopefully. its better so far. we'll see =D

cool! i've been looking for people who actually has played this. how would you rate the online from a scale through 1-10? IGN gave the game a 9.5 which is great, but i would love to hear the pros and cons of a game through actual users. could you please tell?

hmm I'd rate the online 8.5\10. Pros- There's many people 30Vs30, Maps are big and easily accessible,the connection is pretty good and stable, it has good set of weapons. The Xp system is pretty good

Cons- it takes too long to kill someone. maybe empty out a full clip or two before getting a kill. I wish the guns were more stronger. iunno it maybe just me but i hope they fix it in the full game. In Coop, the monsters take so long to die and theres a lot of them

Overall its pretty good and fun.

that sounds good.  and i understand the whole kill time factor. one thing i like about cod4 is how realistic the weapon's damage is. after cod4, i had a hard time playing halo 3 because i realized how unrealistic and sometimes unfair it was when you can get the drop on somebody else but escape (because of the over shields) and then take you out with a stronger weapon. that kind of got me irritated in halo 3. and also, isn't the full game out yet?
