@christineshires Todd Bentley comes from what is called the Word of Faith Movement. They base many of their beliefs on feelins and experiences, and that rises over the Bible. Not only do they act in a demonic way, they also teach horendous teachings. Such as people are little divine gods. The same lie that Satan told Eve, is till being accepted today as truth.

It's really sad but these people and their teachings need to be exposed.

I wrestled with the Lord the other night on ever making another video that points out false prophets, due to all the mean and nasty things that have been said by people who call themselves Christian. I expect it from atheist, but not christians. I had two christians tell me that I need to pray to Todd Bentley for a spiritual healing..can you believe that..pray to Todd Bentley, this is how far gone some of these people are. Yeah, I was pretty shocked too, but when the second person said that, I really couldn't believe how far this thing had gone. I was watching a video the other day where someone tied with the revival had the audicity to say that God told them if was okay to forgive another person of their sins..She was sharing this about a man dying and that God told her that he was giving her permission to forgive sins..can you see how far over the deep end this has gone.people are lost and swimming in deception

I have been watching prophecy for most of my life, with Isreal, Iran, Russia and other signs, but I have to tell you that this delusion that is going on now if far greater then I could have ever imagined. There is the Emergent Church movement, contemplative prayer, seeker sensative movement, and this revival, and then of course there are 62% of evangelicals who say that Jesus insn't the only way to God now, then of cuurse there is Oprahs lies to boot. So the deception, falling away has begun.

One of the many reasons why I quit attending the church about two blocks away is because of the month-long seminar on The Purpose Driven Life they had there a few years ago. That and many other things set off some red flags in my mind.

The deceptions are literally all over the place, and worldwide, to the extent and severity that I think it very well could be the fulfillment of prophecy.

But, there is a remnant who is staying true to Him and to His Word. Let us be counted in that number.

I know what you mean by that. I live in the desert of Utah, and there are only a few Christian churches here, and they have gone by the wayside of Rick Warren and others. I had to quit for the same reason and now we don't have a church to go too. I miss fellowship so much but I won't put myself under the authority of somone who doesn't stick to sound doctrine. It's sad that it has to be that way but there's no choice here..

It's the same situation where I live. I am in a small country town. My husband & I have visited "churches" but it's either the purpose-driven "relevant" garbage, or it's charismatic-pentecostal fluff. Some people don't realize the extent or the pervasive nature of the falling away (apostate church). So when you tell them that you don't attend a local institutional church, they say "there's no perfect church" as if I was looking for a perfect church.

It's not about an assembly being perfect, it's about the assembly being in Spirit & in Truth. The institutional church is set up in a way that takes away from Christ's place in our lives. It's very "Roman Catholic." Little cathedrals called "churches" Little popes called "pastors" instead of paying penance pastor wants u to pay "tithes" & if u don't you're "anathema" cursed with a curse. No thanks....I'll just walk with Christ & He IS causing me to Stand. God bless

Yes, there is no such thing as the perfect church, at least not yet while we are on this earth. It boggles my mind to see that what was once a safe place to go fellowship, has gone by the wayside. It really does break my heart.

Wow. Pray to Todd Bentley? That is pretty frightening to be that deluded. That is the results of not loving the Truth and staying in Christ. God is giving them over to strong delusion in judgement for running after that which they should not have. Pursuing signs and wonders and spitting on the Truth of His Word to have their ears tickled.

Take heart Linda. The fight can be difficult, but even if you help open one persons eyes to the Truth, it is worth it. Besides, the more they persecute you for standing for the Truth, the more they are elevating you before the Lord. Last Sunday I spent the whole day talking with a Hinn follower. He kept telling me and commenting on my videos that I was spreading the levin of the pharisee's. He was pretty nasty, but yet defended Hinn and his false prophecies to the death. deception with with Word of Faith movement has gone so far beyond scripture that it boggles my mind to say the least. I couldn't believe it when I was told to pray to Bentley, but when the second statement came in, I knew this was real bad..We can't stop doing this, time is way too short. Yes, I have been down for the last week, it's been getting so overwhelming that it tires me out. But the Lord told me to continue, so that's what I am doing..God bless you FT..you stay strong too.

I don't have problems with Bentley punched this man if result is healing (Wigglesworth did that also), but I have heard that he never showed publicly medical record of this people who are "healed"...

my comment above was related with one case that happened in Wiggleswort ministry when he punched a man with the cancer and this man vomited and after that he was healed (if I remember correctly)... I wasn't there when he performed that and I don't know if this is true or just a legend... but I would rather be healed by the word of faith... God bless...
