  • 1:42 = Is that the original version of the dungeon BGM?

  • @Shinku19892

Answer to myself: No, from 4:56 there's the unforgottable dungeon BGM from zelda :)

  • i really want them to release a satellaview app on the 3ds

  • WTF japan

  • Jutra0 is wrong. Bs Zelda dos not use link, it use bs's mascots. Creativly name mascot(boy)(girl)

  • 9:50......those question marks at the top of the results screen......are there hidden goals even the uploader doesn't know about?

  • @Kinglchigo link never looked like a chick

  • why does link look like a chick???

  • @SilverDusk1

    1. Because that's not Link, just the player's avatar

    2. Since when has Link NOT looked like a chick?

  • @SilverDusk1

Because when the very first Zelda (NES) was created in Japan, they made the character 'Link' as a girl. But when the game have been imported in US, I don't know why, but they made Link as a boy (maybe they found it unoriginal to be a girl or looked really bad the character). After this time, Japanese through Link as a boy is better.

With BS Zelda (this Rom Hack), the creator MAYBE does retake the contains of the very first Zelda released in Japan, so that why Link is a girl.

  • @jutra0 @SilverDusk1 Link is not a girl there are just two characters you can be one is link and the other is a girl watch "TheKholdOne's" LP of this

  • make subtitules for this vid, what narrator said to you please? or any other Stela vid

  • the character is a................GIRL

  • @buizel009 BS Zelda never had the original "Link" it was a new hero with the Zelda 1 maps

  • That's really cool! seems like a worthy remake =>

  • link get rid of that hiccups

  • looks like zelda 1 remake in 16-bit graphics (like mario all-stars)

  • it IS zelda 1 with 16-bit graphics remake , IT IS

  • @nooblet911 N00Blet911

  • have a problem?

  • @nooblet911 nothing you couldn't figure out, Captain Obvious. lol

  • well I just said what I though when I saw the game. it could be a totaly different game just with similar graphics.

  • I didn't actually understand half of this. What was up with when the music changed into something sorrowful, and those big Japanese characters popped up?

  • who are they playing as? I don't recognize the red hair and ponytail

  • Broadcast Sattelite Mascots.

  • cool. and i think they did that with the megaman games too, cause i saw the same character there

  • could almost think its SNES

  • falcon actually,

    the japanise snes,

  • Famicom, using the Bandai Satellaview X addon.

  • @stnewton09 you mean broadcast

  • This really has good graphics.

  • wtf

  • what system is this???

  • super famicom(SNES). search BS Zelda on wikipedia

  • I thought the BS zelda used the sprites from a Link to the past.

  • Actually, doing this on Wii VC would have sense.

  • wow the narrator never shuts up

  • Okay, I figured I knew quite a bit about Nintendo, but I am at a miss here, was this a playable upgrade of Zelda? Because I love it! I totally agree, it is as if LoZ met LTTP. I wish they made this available on Wii VC if this were a playable game. Sorry if I sound dumb, I know very little about the Satellaview.

  • The Satellaview was a device that could recieve and play episodic content that was broadcasted via Sattelive. While you could play the games they broadcasted that drama to listen to that went with the game. All the music came from that aswell. The game itself only had sound effects, no music. I think you could make a character in the firmware of the system that got transferred into the games you played. I think it's really sad that this never came out outside japan... sounded like fun!

  • Thanks, but I looked it up immediately after posting that comment. I totally agree with you, it seems that Nintendo really treats their homeland well and, though it is good to see, it pisses me off that we don't get such luxurious and gracious offers such as those. This is the sort of thing that keeps me enamored by Nintendo and keeps me a loyal customer of theirs and I just don't want to move to Japan to get the real goods.

  • Well the thing is... They would make loads of money. I think almost all the Satellaview games were huge names so releasing these previously unreleased titles in the west would most likely mean a great deal of money for them.

Same goes for plenty of other unreleased games or beta games. People would for example pay much for a beta copy of... say... Resident Evil 2 (called 1.5), Resident Evil 4 (3.5), Star Fox 2 or many other games. Why don't companies release them? Even if they are unfinished

  • Or release more Pictures, Videos and Infos as bonus material alongside other releases. Some people would even pay for that alone. Even if they are infos, pics and/or vids abour cancelled games that will NEVER see the light of day.

So releasing these for a reasonable price or as bonus material would most likely be profitable.

  • @KUR1SU They'd probably release it on the Wii Market instead of outright.

  • @ElfOfJapan Yes, that's what I always say. Publishing small and old games has gotten much cheaper and way less risky over the years. Every console has a digital distribution platform nowadays, the PC had it, like, forever. So why don't they use this opportunity a bit better? Star Fox 2 is basically done. At least 98-99%. There are roms roaming around the net and they work. So why don't they just put it on the virtual console the way it is? And that's just one of many games in this situation.

  • @KUR1SU Because they are support hell and illusionary proprietary nightmare.

  • @KUR1SU cause they were broadcasted games and if you would sell it today it wouldnt be a stream but a file, and a lot of the bs features would be missed wich would confuse some players cause it would be to them like just a demo/beta

  • Where you in Japan for this game

  • man it would be awsome to play the

legend of zelda in 16-bit form

  • A Link To The Past????

  • No the orignal

  • Oh, True!!!

  • Wow, if Zelda was to be remade, I'd hope it would look almost exactly like this! Except maybe a little more detail on the dungeon walls. The sprites were great, and it was fun to watch! It's like if Zelda met Zelda:ALLTP.

    Great video, great quality, awesome.

    5 stars :D

  • I'd like to see both versions of this on the Virtual Console. With sprites of Link to replace the other two heroes, of course.

  • By both versions, I mean there's another called like "Ancient Stone Tablets" or something.

  • Lol!

    *Gets hit*

    WHOOP!

  • It's strange isn't it, in 1995 Nintendo in Japan was broadcasting games for you to play as well and give you voice overs, yet it took until 2005 (Correct me if I'm wrong) for them to add online play to their games throughout the rest of the world, it's amazing how much we miss out on.

  • the graphics and sounds are much better than the nss version, not to mention that this is a updated nes version, but it looks simmilar.

damm i want those coll addons for the snes richtnow!!!!!!!

  • Man I'm jealous. I'd love to play this.

  • that child that supose to be link reminds me of some mage from FF4

  • I have played this game and its allmost the same as zelda1

  • It's supposed to be.

  • this looks like the first zelda game with different main character

  • we didnt get this game because the satellite system never came stateside and even if it did it couldve flopped since 32bit systems were arriving...while in japan all systems regardless of bits still receive new games

    super famicom 1990-2003 snes 1991-1997/98.

  • interesting video.

  • i wanna play this game.the story line happens after Link leaves for his adventure on koholint.since Link is gone evil forces come back and this kid is called the hero of light.that would be cool if they reliesed it on the vc.

  • Okay. That voice that interrupts gameplay is annoying.

  • @thesnake383 well he gives you hints and clues

  • ...

  • where's Link?

  • THAT'S SO COOL! I love watching this!

  • wow so your getting stalked when your playing the game...

  • wtf japan always keeps this good stuff for themselfs omg then try to keep it a secret (assholes)

  • I wouldn't really say they were greedy, but I still wish we had this.

  • remember when super mario allstars came out and they basically remade the original nes marios with updated graphics... i wish they would do that with the zeldas.. i mean yeah we got the zelda collection wihthe gamecube, but id like to see zelda 1 with "link to the past" graphics or bettr

  • fpr annyone that doesn't know:

this game was a remake on the SNES that could be downloaded with a satalite addon for the SNES that was only released in japan, with it you could play this game but only between 4:00 and 7:00 PM so that's why there is a clock.

AND the voice is a LIVE narrator watching and commenting your every movement.

  • @Vyruz64 so every player has live narrator? :D my god! so that loading screen before was for waiting for this guy? and tell something, they must have so many peoples narratoring ...wow i cant belive it. japan is great pleace. i hope you make some video with english subtitules. i think many peoples want to know what narrator said to you. bye

  • does anyone know how to get this?

please message me if you know

  • It's on the 'net, just look...search for the BS Zelda Homepage for more info. In it's 'original' state, it's not really playable, since the original voice narration, streaming music (etc) can't be replicated, but the patched form is quite playable, if missing some of the more interesting stuff like the voices. Worth playing for any Zelda fan.

  • @jacobisnthere69 search "bs zelda rom"

  • artmanadvanced: It says "Listen closely," basically. Meaning the info being said is important.

  • What's with the Japanese symbols? I'm guessing it means Pause. And the voice in the background the entire time?

  • The clock is because you could only play the game for a limited time, and the Character is a Girl since you play as your Broadcast Satellite avatar.

  • why is link a girl?

  • link is a girl because well... When you first turn on your satellaview you are asked to choose between 2 characters a boy and a girl and the character you choose appaears well in the game

  • What's the clock in the corner for?

  • Timed events, you could only play for about an hour. . .
