  • @phlemTARD There is always a better car. There are better cars than a Corvette. Just so we are clear, again, if I was given the option id rather have a slow Mustang over a fast Civic. Thats all I said and there is no reason to discuss it further.

  • Id still rather have a slow Mustang over a fast Civic any day. But hey to each his own.

  • @Floordford why?

  • Vtec called, he said his leg hurts from all those "kicking in" he had done in the past years...

  • I smoke mustangs all the time on the streets and freeways with my Honda in L.A.

You didnt need to settle it on the track

  • whats the color code of that eg

  • Comment removed

  • I would love to do a engine swap and run a 13.5 but then i would be running three 10ths of a sec slower then stock .

  • did you convert that to RHD or import this civic and how is it driving a RHD in the street in the US

  • @nintendo007 It is a conversion and to be honest, I prefer driving rhd in the states.

  • @JasonUnoriginal me to

  • Um, I had a 79' Mustang with a rebuilt stock headed/stock block 74' 306 (small 5200 rpm cam, aftermarket intake manifold and carb, later shorty headers added during 4.10 swap), an old ass burnt up C4 auto, and it ran 13.05 with a 3.42 rear. Swapped in a 5-speed, an 8.8 with 4.10's and it was high 12.90. All under $2000. It'd smoke tires 1st and 2nd while passing crap that was slower. For 6 grand you can buy a new 412 horse Coyote crate motor, stick that into a Fox body, run high 11's-12s.

  • @CarpathianCarl I'd bet faster than that, since A) the "412hp" is a low estimate, since a lot of '11 GTs make 375-385whp, and B) the '11 GTs can run bottom 12s stock at 3800lbs, in even a 3300lb SN95 it'd likely go 11s, and in a 2900lb fox body (considering the new 5.0 and 6 speed trans combined weigh less than an iron headed pushrod 5.0 engine only) I'd guess 11.50s is possible.

  • @Milehighsnake98 those coyote motors actually do run 11.5's in foxbodys. if thats what you were talking about.

  • Lol yea that track is all that xenia has

  • Dude kilkare is in xenia not cincinnati

  • @nickdec19 I'm aware lol. Was just generalizing since most people aren't aware where Xenia is. Thanks for the correction though.

  • Close race tho

  • Wow Im surprised there isn't a bunch of bitter Mustang enthusiasts getting butthurt about this vid, anyways nice race, that civic is quick as fuck!

  • @JDMforLife13 Haha, give it a few more thousand views and they'll probably start coming in. =P But nothing to really get butthurt over I suppose, it's all pretty much clear cut. Much appreciated though! Feel free to share.

  • @JDMforLife13 why would mustang enthusiasts be butt hurt over this? It looks like that mustang hopped on that eg. A k20 stuffed into a eg should be able to hang with a newer stang somewhat. k swaps are not cheap at all. I wouldnt put that much money into a honda just to barely beat a stock GT.

  • @muscleheadist dropping a k20 into a civic would still be cheaper then new stock gt

  • @dynoplex6 Still cheaper than a base Mustang.

  • Which rims are those? I recognize them... But I cant put my finger on it.

  • @Benny1581 Yes indeed, Ap1 S2000 wheels sir.

  • Clean ass eg =] no question about it and its quick =]]

  • @meatdept Thanks bud!

  • lol civic owns up again hahaha crack up stuff

  • :D yet another win

  • You need to get your slicks or atleast street radials on there and shave atleast 0.5 seconeds off this time if not more

  • @steelcityracer1320 I know tell me about it! New build should be set to go by this spring or summer and there will definitely be some new meats when that occurs. Thanks for checking it out!

  • clean ass civic

  • @ygomez145 Thanks yo!

  • at least the civic isnt riced out. get a kpro.

  • @mrdragking13 Thanks bud. In the description it says I'm running KPro. However, on a stock set up, it was safer for me to keep the stock calibration. Couple new things coming up this season, so the KPro will definitely see some use. THanks for the view!

  • civic is slow as FUCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dipsetbyrdgang2006 Thanks! =]

  • @dipsetbyrdgang2006 it ran a better time then the mustang.

  • nice hatch!

  • im hoping to dip into the 13s with mine:) we will see soon enough. the car pulls hard. I have beaten an h22 cx hatch with an h22a with skunk2 pro 2 cams, full bolt ons, and lost by a car to a turbo 93 ls on 8 pounds that went 12.88 @ 105 on slicks

  • @5spd5thgen The h22 you'll beat all day because of our god-sent 6 speed. The loss by a car doesn't sound too bad either!

  • That civic's sick as fuck

  • @steelcityracer1320 Thanks a bunch!

  • Damn That Civic Moves :P...Talk about a Mustake

  • Haha. This gave me a laugh. Thanks for checking it out!

  • good pass! good mustang kill. thumbs up

  • Thanks a bunch! Subscribe for plenty more this upcoming season. =]

  • ok will do

check out my videos too. i went 14.7 in my bolt ons prelude, im trying to possibly break into 13s this year :]

  • Can't love this stomping enough!

  • very nice dude!

  • Thank you sir!

  • i seen you drive past my house

  • Tell the haters to brush the dirt off their shoulders J.

  • im pretty sure i seen you running at streetlyfe tour this pass year?

  • Yes sir! The last one of the season in October. Thanks for checking it out!

  • need slicks baby u got no traction

  • Tell me about it haha. I don't typically track the car, so I just haven't had a use for slicks yet. Thanks for the view though!

  • lol my skyline will smoke that.

  • haha :<

  • lol wheelspin..
